Rated to 350 degrees. Okay. What do I cook at 350 or less. Bad design. Rate it to the grill ability.

Hey Rich thanks for taking the time to leave us a review on our pro 22/575 insulation blanket. We do appreciate your feedback.
The insulation blankets are rated for 350 degrees because anything beyond can cause potential safety hazards. Anything beyond 350 can cause potential damage to the insulation blanket as well as the grill itself. We also only recommend using this product when the temperature is below freezing.

Hello Josh, we appreciate you sharing the details of your experience. It sounds like the blanket may have been exposed to heat levels beyond its intended design, which caused the fasteners to come off and affected the blanket’s performance. This can happen if the hooks or material encounter temperatures or placement conditions they weren’t optimized for. A possible resolution is to have the blanket inspected or replaced so that you can continue cooking safely and effectively, without interruptions. We want to make sure your equipment works reliably and gives you the results you expect every time. You can get in touch with us at 1-800-TRAEGER, and we’ll assist you directly to ensure everything is taken care of.
