My new favorite kitchen gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other wireless thermometers and this one is by far the best I’ve come across. Just unboxing the the thermometer you know you are getting something special. The initial setup was extremely easy. The app walks you through everything. Took me about 10 minutes to run through the setup and run the firmware update. To use you click on the thermometer in the app and either select quick set or times and temps. Quick set you simply click the type of meat you are cooking and the doneness. For the times and temps option you select the meat type, the cut of meat, the thickness, the cooking appliance and doneness. After either of these options the probe will read the internal temp, the target temp and the ambient temp. The app will tell you exactly what to do. You receive live alerts via app and the built in speaker on the case. I grilled steaks and pork chops and they came out perfectly cooked. I can not recommend the Chef iQ smart thermometer more. Amazing product.
