I bought this a month ago and most of the flame is on the front and has caught on fire 3 times already!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stainless burners...cast iron grate...sear burner...very well built! I will never own a grill without those things. Great job Char-Broil!

Great Grill

I've had a similar grill for several years now and have been very pleased with it. As indicated it's several years old now, which is why I'm currently on this web site. As with all things you need to take care of it properly, but it will still wear out. I'm looking to replace mine, but still happily using it until I find a new grill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Universal Rotisserie

The wife bought the 6 burner grill (463284022) later decided she wanted a rotisserie. Our BBQ is 32" but the Char-broil universal rotisserie (9768102) is 26". Questioned that 2 times and was told it would definitely fit. Bought and installed but could not close the lid. Questioned again and was told that the universal (what does universal mean?) model doesn't my BBQ but there is a fix, which is to "cut a notch" in the lid. The wife said do it.. Luckily I had the tools. It now closes but looks like someone cut a notch in the lid. Also the shaft is not exactly level since the collar rides a little high in the frame cutout. Seems like all this could be prevented by cutting a notch in the lid during manufacture and extended the shaft to 32+ inches.

I bought my grill and the discreption had know nothing to do with a sear burner and neither did the picture and I paid for the more money and shipping and could have bought the samething locally for less money.

Grill Grates Disintegrated/Ignitor Stopped Working

The grill grates disintegrated and ended up on my food. Also, the igniter stopped working. Must manually ignite it by turning the burner on and then igniting with a long lighter.

Cooking good product

Love this grill. Its 10 or more years old. Have replaced the burners once. She still works well today. Going to replace it in the spring time. Hope the new one lives up to its name

New design is flawed!

The assembly valve in front causes is a huge hot spot burns your food and makes it incredibly difficult to utilize the back of the grill because it heats up your wrists an arms! Terrible design unless they move the valve to the back again I cannot recommend this grill.
