Would not recommend due to short battery time

I was so excited to try this and overall I also really like the idea of this product. However, on the highest power setting, it only lasts for a little over one hour which is certainly not enough for my adenomyosis induced pain which requires many hours of heat therapy. I bought this to be able to stop using my stick on heat pads. But with the short battery life on the highest setting, I would be better off using the stick on heat pads that stay hot for 12 hours. I would love it if sunbeam chose to include 2 powerbanks in the package.

Great..until it completely stopped working

I bought this exactly a year ago and loved it. I was very careful with this item (followed all use instructions) and absolutely loved how it worked so much that I bought a second one. Today the heating pad just stopped getting hot completely. The battery pack is fully charged and works on the other heating pad, so it is a problem with the pad. Disappointing to now have a useless item—of course right at the time that any warrantee just ran out. Used to really like this item, but not sure I could recommend something that completely stopped working to anyone at this point.

If your GoHeat™ Cordless Heating Pad stopped working, please try the following steps to remedy this issue:
-Please make sure that you have fully charged the battery for 3 hours or until the light is solid green.
-Verify tight connection between pad and USB outlet.
-Verify no physical damage to the cord, power button, pad or battery.
-Verify that the charger is plugged in properly when charging.
-Ensure the USB power source can provide a 2A current output
Your Sunbeam GoHeat™ Cordless Heating Pad has a year limited warranty. If this issue still occurs, please contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below so that we can provide you with a better solution. Have a nice day!

Terrible battery life

I bought this not even a month ago and the battery ia having problems. I have Chrohns disease and having a heating pad I can rely on is a must and this product is not it. Not worth the money! I will never buy this again!

1. Before first use, fully charge the battery unit/heating pad controller by connecting charger cord into the charger port and plug into AC wall jack.
Note: Charge in an ambient temperature between 41°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C).
2. Battery light will flash green during charging.
3. Once battery light is solid green, the unit is fully charged. Charging may take up to 3 hours (using the standard charger) and up to 1 hour and 15 minutes (using the quick charger).
BATTERY UNIT:
1. The battery can last up to 4 hours on low heat setting and up to 2 hours on high heat setting.
2. The battery light indicator will turn red or green when the battery is either low, charging, or fully charged.
3. Battery runtime will reduce over time. Battery life depends on usage and storage conditions

Unsatisfactory product

Batteries are rechargeable for a short few months and then wear out and charge does not last!! I cannot find batteries to replace the old ones so that I have heat for more than 45 minutes with the battery that came with the pad.

Great Improvement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable heating pad is a great step up from my tired corded traditional heating pad. Every time I've needed to put heat on my back or hip, I've been stuck on the couch with the heating pad attached to the wall outlet. With this portable unit, I'm able to have heat at work without my coworkers knowing and the easy clip allows me to clip it onto my pants so I can still chase my kiddos and keep up with family day to day. I like that the patches are reusable, although I would love them for have a longer life cycle than 10x. The cords are bit annoying but I think I need to just do a better job tucking them in and getting used them. All in all a huge step up!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bulky and annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Sunbeam GoHeat Cordless Heating Pad with charger. It charged up pretty fast. I found the the sizing of this product should have taken different body types into account, and it did not. It was bulky and uncomfortable to wear. The heat was good but it really only covers a very small area. Also, the charge did not last as long as I thought it would have. It seemed like I was either trying to adjust it every time I wore it, or I had to charge it up again. Not a good product.

Great for pain relief

I love that it’s rechargable and reusable and that you can take it with you. I travel often, so this will also come in handy while away from home. Overall, this is a great product!

My go to for soreness!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently work out and have sore muscles and back. This is amazing it has really helped ease my sore back and shoulder! I love gnat you can travel with it. I even bring it with me to work since i sit at a desk all day. Definately worth the buy!
