I am blown away by the 4k picture watching movies has taken it to another level compared to my 1080p projector I replaced. Well worth the upgrade.

I have always felt that with a given technology you reach a point where every additional step in quality is inordinately expensive. I believe it is possible and sensible to know when a satisfaction level has been reached. I got there on the 2 channel audio side a few years ago and have been content to just enjoy the music. I now believe the video side has been reached with the Sony VPL-VW325ES. This looks to me to perform at the level of some of the best TVs.
