Leaks and losing milk

I was so excited to get these so I wouldn’t have to deal with the milk bags, but I’m still experiencing leaks and losing milk once I’m done pumping. I’m producing just enough milk for my baby so it’s very frustrating when I lose any amount. For the willow pump and its parts to be so expensive, you’d think it would be more full proof in terms of capturing and holding all the milk it pumps for you. Really regretting the willow purchase…

They have to constantly be in vinegar water in order to not clog when not using. Leaks when you lean over, which defeats the main reason I bought willow in the first place. Still wireless, so that earns a star. Also, it makes no sense that they are not included in your original purpose of pumps. They are expensive enough!

A little tricky

The containers are a little tricky when you first start, but get easier to use over time. They feel more bulky than the bags, and I tend to make more of a mess after than with the bags

Awkward to use and spill prone

I have used these (and the pump) multiple times following the instructions precisely and I still have not been able to empty these once without spilling.

I think they are super convenient. However, you constantly have to replace them, you can't bend over with them, and it is difficult to clean it properly.

Terrible! Leak during flip to finish!

I have other containers and these just keep leaking during flip to finish. I have trouble shooted it and it’s the containers not the operator.

If You Buy The Willows Buy Milk Container Bundle Set

I’m a new Mama and I was having difficulty pumping because I had a wired breast pump and had to be plugged into a wall to pump. I wasn’t getting the volume I wanted to achieve either. It was hard to pump because I’m always running around. Now I can pump anywhere! I’ve pumped while taking my baby girl for a walk and doing the dishes. Now I wouldn’t recommend bending over too much or milk will spill out but I love the container because I can just pump, pour milk in a container, and then store it. Very easy to clean. The only problem I have is always remembering to rotate the dial to 2 to close the air vent. Once you get the milk container you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you don’t rotate the dial the milk spills out. I’ve had this happen maybe twice but it’s heartbreaking when you work so hard to pump. Other than that I love the container.

I know the pump is designed to work with the bags best, but I prefer the containers. Sure, they can be a little finicky, but I put a little effort in on the front end and I have had great success.
