Pump of my dreams!

I bought the Willow when my son turned about 2 weeks old. He was not gaining weight quickly enough and I needed to breast feed, pump, and give him the breast milk I pumped after. Using a standard pump it was impossible to care for my 2 other kiddos and get anything done. The Willow makes it so that I can be mobile and do all of the things I need to do! I ordered the containers and love those as well.

Great product and incredible customer service

Love being able to move around freely and not be restricted while pumping. I started having a couple issues and turns out I was using the wrong size flange. Sizing is so important with Willow. They have incredible support to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise. I exclusively pump and am so thankful I chose Willow.

Why am I JUST now finding this…?

This is my third child. It’s my fourth pump. I am eligible for a pump with each child through insurance. I’ve tried three before this - they’ve been okay. I saw this after I ordered mine for my third baby and paid out of pocket.
It was worth every single penny. I have only made it about 5-6 months breastfeeding and pumping my kids. With this pump? I feel like I could go longer. I get more with each pump (thanks for showing me how to actually measure my nipples… never did that, and apparently it matters!), and I can DO THINGS while I pump. I am not tied to the wall because I’m plugged in and I’m not totally sequestered because you can still see “things” through a clear flange. I CAN EVEN NAP WITH IT - which is usually what I want to do when I pump at home.
This is the best thing since sliced bread. I’m so sad I’m just now finding this!!

Perfect for retail pharmacists

I am incredibly happy with my willow pump. I bought it specifically to use at work. I’m able to put it on in just a couple of minutes and then wear it while working. The bags make it easy and fast to quickly put in the freezer and continue working. Overall I’m able to put it on, pump, and store my milk in less than 15 minutes total. This pump will allow me to continue to feed my baby when I do not have a job that allows traditional pumping. I’m so glad I invested in the willow for work!

Much better than Elvie

I purchased the Willow pump after the rubber valves on my Elvie pump stopped allowing milk to drop into the bottle. With nowhere to go, milk backed up in the pump and soaked through my bra while I was at work! The Elvie only comes with 2 of these valve pieces, and, since this was the second one to malfunction, I was unable to pump at work for the rest of the day. Not only was this extremely uncomfortable, but it also hurt my milk supply since I missed 2 sessions.
I’ve had my Willow for about 2 months now, and the only issue I’ve run into was when I had to change flange sizes due to some discomfort that started after about a week of use. It is very important that you follow Willow’s guide to measure for your flange size. I was using a 17mm insert with my Elvie but had to change to a 15mm with the Willow because of the Willow’s stronger suction. I haven’t had any issues or discomfort since changing to the 15mm inserts.
Once you get the hang of it, the Willow is easy to assemble with either the bags or the reusable bottles. I used to have to reassemble and restart my Elvie pump multiple times to even get the suction to engage, but the Willow is ready to go every time and will stop pumping if there is a problem. The app will also tell you exactly what the problem is and walk you through how to fix it.
The volume tracker on the Willow app is scarily accurate because it is almost always exact. If it is off at all, it is only by 0.1-0.4 ounces, usually because the flip to finish adds a little bit extra that the app doesn’t record. The tracker on the Elvie pump was almost never correct. It would often read 2.5-3.5 ounces when the bottle was actually overflowing or close to empty.
The Willow pump is much faster than the Elvie and allows for more freedom while pumping since the stronger latch helps keep the pump in place while picking up/holding baby or doing chores. My Elvie pump would unlatch or leak with slight arm movements while on my computer at work or while walking.
While the Willow pump is louder and less discreet than the Elvie, it is well worth the sacrifice because the Willow’s quality and reliability is far, far superior.
My only complaint would be that the magnets that attach the flanges to the pumps prevent me from sterilizing these pieces in my microwave sterilizer. However, an electric sterilizer would easily remedy this, and the brushes that come with the pump, and the fact that all of the pieces are dishwasher safe, make it easy to get keep the pieces that cannot go in a microwave sterilizer clean. Just be sure to rinse everything out after every use to prevent any residue buildup.
Save yourself the money and skip right to the Willow!

This pump is amazing! Not only does it allow me to pump in almost any circumstance, but it is super efficient too! I didn’t expect it to express milk better than my Ameda health insurance pump, but it does. Wish it and the bags/parts weren’t so expensive.

great wearable pump

I am overall very happy with the Willow pump. I am exclusively breastfeeding and have so far only used the Willow in AM after feeds to help build my stash for when maternity leave ends. Thus, I cannot comment on how it will go using it at work with a full day of pumping. The pumps are very easy to use and seem to work efficiently for me. I had an issue with a malfunctioning pump and Willow promptly addressed the issue and sent a replacement pump for me. The only complaint I have is the volume capacity. I have an oversupply and the containers only hold a bit over 4 ounces so when I go back to work I will need to empty the container mid-pump which is doable but not ideal.

Freedom is clutch

I LOVE my Willow Pump! The freedom to pump on the go that it provides is life changing, especially with a baby and toddler at home! I can easily and discreetly pump in my office, while I drive and even on my peloton! Takes a little getting used to compared to traditional pumps but it’s so worth it.
