Sooo convenient

When my supply was low, I had to pump regularly to increase supply. The willow was super convenient for pumping regularly!

Sometimes great, sometimes flawed

When this pump works, I love it. But it regularly gives me error messages when I assemble it, often when I am short on time, and that unreliability makes it quite annoying. Otherwise I am very happy with the wireless pumping! I haven’t tried the Elvie so I don’t know whether Willow is better or worse.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freedom vs constant malfunctions

The one good thing about this pump is you have your freedom.... when it's not messing up. I really wanted to love a hands free breast pump but this one has a long way to go. I clean it twice a day because it will not let me pump if it reads the pump is full, even though it's not full. The reusable containers have a filter that requires deep cleaning and even the slightest bit of milk that you may not see, the pump flashes orange and it also does not let you pump. It's so high maintenance. If I knew what I know now, I would not have gotten the Willow. I have tried the bag containter it came with, same issue. I've never left a more honest review. The 30% of the time it's working, I actually love.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This breast pump is not like every other breast pump out there. You cannot just start using it right away because you may cause some damage to your precious nipples. It is best to establish your milk supply using a different pump or nursing {if no difficulties} from the get go. Get measured and start to use it twice a day for at least two weeks. Once your body gets used to the willow and how it suctions, it is THE BEST! It takes a lot of patience, and it is not easy. It is mainly a mental game because of course our bodies will not EVER just make it easy for us. It's a learning curve at first but once you get the hang of it, you'll be be glad that you didn't give up!
So hang in there mom's, educate yourselves and be patient. Join the groups online, they are super helpful in teaching you how to use this pump. I'm so happy this is available now because my breastfeeding journey with baby #2 is sooo much better bc of this pump.
