These are a must-have for the multi-tasking Mama! While I have had some unknown mechanical issues, Willow has always been quick to help replace the pumps.

Works well

This pump has excellent suction. It’s a bit bulky, I did have to size up my bra for it fit without painfully smashing my breasts. It takes a while to get the flip down. I spilt milk a few times just cause there are so many steps involved. Overall though, I am very pleased.

Better Than Expected

This pump has been a game changer for me. I am able to get in a lot more pumping sessions. I don't like that I can't get in another stimulation period as I suffer from low milk supply and I respond better to 2 stimulation cycles. I also don't care for the fact that I can't choose my suctions until after I have pumped a certain amount of milk. The bags are expensive. The collection cups are even more ridiculously expensive. So why am I rating so high? Because the pump itself is amazing. I like that I can bend down to grab my infant twins or even lay down to read a book (when using bags). The suction is much better than my Medela.

Hands-Free but not Discreet

I purchased the Willow because I was concerned about having time/privacy to pump at my job as a high school teacher. When I first started using the Willow I did not like it at all! I was used to the Medela Pump in Style, which is more traditional and seemed (at the time) more plug and go. After a few frustrating tries with the Willow, I left it in the box for a couple of months.
Once I became more comfortable with pumping, however, I decided to get the Willow out again and give it a try. After a few days of using it more regularly, I grew to LOVE the Willow. It's especially useful at the beginning of the day (I wear it while getting ready for work) and the end of the day (I wear it while cooking dinner or while my husband and I watch TV after baby has gone to bed). When I first started using it, I thought it collected less than the Medela, but now I believe it collects the same amount if not more. I love being able to pump and do other things.
I would not, however, wear this pump while working. I would wear it when I was alone in my classroom during my planning period, but there is NO WAY students wouldn't notice my huge hard chest or the noises coming out of it. It's not incredibly loud, but it's not silent. The main drawback, though, is how large it makes my chest. A loose top could disguise it slightly, but I cannot change my entire wardrobe to make pumping easier at work. If you don't work with teenagers, you might find the Willow useful to wear while working. To me, however, it just won't work in that capacity.
The size/hardness of the cups also makes it somewhat difficult to do things with baby while wearing. I don't love holding her with them on because I have to hold her very far out/do not think it's comfortable for her to press her head against my hard chest.
Finally, I would not waste money on the storage bags. I found the pump more difficult to use with the bags because you have to push them down/in to fit, but the reusable storage container is much easier to use and you can just throw it in the dishwasher after use. There are plenty of storage bags/containers you can buy to transfer milk into from reusable storage container.
Overall, the Willow is a great product that works well and does make pumping hands-free and easier. It is not, however, discreet because it made my chest comically large.

Horrible experience

After going through YouTube videos tutorials and reading the manual over and over I could not get the pump to work it wouldn't pump so my breasts constantly weren't getting emptied then hands free didn't work they were too big which could be just because my breasts are too big but wouldn't stay no matter what bra I used and positioning the pump was always a hassle and the stimulation mode never seemed to be over so would spend 10 minutes trying to get it to switch over to expression. Overall horrible pump and would not recommend especially for the price.

Don't waste your money

I am very dissatisfied with these pumps. I purchased these pumps in February of 2021. The pumps worked great for the first two months. For the last month, I have had nothing but issues. I have made sure to clean my parts diligently and even use the vinegar rinse. I receive countless Flextubes issues at each pumping session and usually have to switch to the bags to get my pumps to work. I also experienced leaks twice last week even though I know I assembled my pumps correctly. Your customer service is great and I have received new parts quickly. But even with the new parts, the problems continue. I have decided to start weaning earlier than I had originally intended because I am done dealing with the frustrations at each daily pump session. I am saddened that I have purchased such an expensive piece of equipment and have dealt with so many problems. I will not be recommending this pump to anyone in the future.

Amazing product!

I struggled with postpartum depression when I first had my daughter and thought I might have had to give up on breastfeeding and pumping because I couldn’t stand being tied down to a pump that I needed to hold up to my body and plug into the wall. The willow LITERALLY saved my breastfeeding journey and I am forever grateful. It’s also the only pump I’ve tried that empties my breasts fully and I’ve been able to increase my supply with this pump!

Painful

I have purchased all 3 flange sizes as well as purchased silicone inserts to try and find the correct size to soften the experience for myself and no matter what I’ve tried the willow hurts my nipples and/or doesn’t empty my breasts. I used to rave about how excited I was to use the willow while pumping for my second child because I need to be on the move with my first child but have ended up using my old pump 99.5% of the time because it is so painful.
