In the beginning, it’s a little rocky, but once I got the hang of the “flip to finish” it was all second nature. Sometimes, I still have leftover milk in the flex tube with the bags, so I like using the containers better, but the bags give me that comfort knowing I can do anything & milk will not come out. Also, with the container, if I don’t remember to switch dial to 2, I lose some milk, I wish there was some alert or automatic switch. Other than that, I’ve had great output with it since the beginning & have felt so much freedom not being stuck to a wall outlet! Thank you Willow!

I got this pump for my second baby, and it has been SO handy. I am able to pump in the morning while I get my family ready for work and school. I can't imagine being tethered to the wall as I was with the Spectra pump I used with my first baby. I love being able to track how much I've pumped, as well as the length of the pumping session. It's definitely pricey, but our insurance covered about 75% of the cost. The investment has been worth it for my family!

Misalignment drives me crazy

Pros
1. If you are always running around, the portability is great.
2. You can’t carry your LO on your chest with the pumps on, but you can pump and feed in certain positions which I couldn’t do with pumps that had a bunch of tubes
3. Comes with bags and a reusable container so you can pump and freeze or pour into a bottle from the container right away
4. I feel like I get a little more with this pump than others probably because I can pump more often because of the portability
5. Can use HSA to pay for it

2. Cleaning is a hassle sometimes because the app notifies you if there’s an issue after you’ve assembled the container and tried pumping. So you have to disassemble everything use a little brush to clean it and reassemble and try again.
3. The alignment is always an issue for me. I have to keep an eye on the app or manually check after a minute to make sure it’s aligned properly once the nipples are sucked on for a minute. Otherwise you waste a whole session with nothing out. The app even says it’s pumping when it’s not. Can be a huge waste of time sometimes. And it’s hard to see if you’re pumping in the container.
3. I don’t get a lot of milk and it’s hard to see even a drop go to waste. So I’d practice pouring out of the container with water a few times to get it right and learn how the pump works. Sometimes it squirts the milk out of the flange, other times you can’t get all the milk out unless you tilt it in multiple angles.

All in all it’s better than other pumps I used and I’d buy it again. But needs some improvements for those of us who struggle.

Life changing

I'm a Retail Pharmacist and my job requires me to work long hours without much break in between . Thanks to Willow I was able to pump while working. I have done it for a year with two kids. I’ve been extremely happy with my willow pumping journey and am forever grateful that it has allowed me to successfully continue my breastfeeding journey while back to work.

I bought this pump to use with my third baby. Knowing that I would be on the go chasing my other two kids all day, I did not see the option of being tied down to a plug in pump. This pump has been such a blessing! They are so easy to assemble, pop into your bra, and pump while continuing on with your day. Willow has made pumping so easy and convenient!

I love how convenient it is for me at work. I'm able to hook it up and get back to work and no one knows I'm pumping. I would recommend all breast feeding mom get the Willow Pump. I love how easy it is to clean

Great product and amazing customer service

I Purchased the Willow third generation After having my second baby. I’m a special-education teacher and had very limited time to pump with my first kid. When I heard about the Willow and watched all the reviews I knew that this was some thing that I wanted for my second. I was excited and ordered right away. One week after my son was born a piece of the reusable cartridge fell off and I couldn’t find it. I reached out on Facebook messenger and heard back from customer service the same day. She was able to send me an email with the stuff I needed to have proof of purchase. I received a replacement cartridge within three days! I’m so excited with this purchase and I haven’t even had to use it at work yet! This product has made being a working mom significantly less stressful. I’m no longer concerned about where and how I will be able to pump.

Works great when it works

The pump is very finicky. If it’s working and set up correctly, it’s a godsend. Half the time I get errors and have to re-clean things so it will work, all the while I’m already leaking milk and need to pump, so it gets super frustrating. It is much more convenient than a standard pump and it’s great once it’s working.
