Love it, and good customer service

I love my willow pump. I did have some issues with my right pump but the company is replacing it. And it was relatively easy to go through the process of getting a replacement.
However I will say it does pump a little less than my spectra pump, but not by much and it’s worth the convenience.

Love but takes some learning

I absolutely my willow - I’ve never had to pump with anything else (first baby) so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The convenience and efficiency is spectacular. There is a bit of a learning with getting proper alignment though. Once I figured out how to properly align my pumping sessions were way better.
Also the ‘leak proof’ bags aren’t always leak proof ... I’ve had huge messes in my fridge / freezer from leaking bags. While I like being able to pump into the bags directly, I don’t want to risk losing any so I pump into the container and then transfer to a lansinoh bag.
Over all i absolutely the willow and will def be using it for all future kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Technology needs work

I love this pumps potential but it just needs so much work still. It is extremely frustrating most of the time. If you do not position the pumps perfectly and they do not latch the first time, they suck air into the bag and error out before they finish pumping. They also hurt much more than other pumps and need to be lighter still. They are not easy to use and hold a baby at the same time. At the current state I would not recommend these.

Hands free but spills, a lot

I love that I can pump and move about freely. Down side is that there is lots of leakage at the bottom of the pump when removing and the container spills if you bend down. I bought extra bags but I hate fumbling with them to get them to fit in correctly (bags seem to have lots of errors if not perfectly positioned). Using the bags also gives me incorrect milk measurements (see pic).
I want to love this pump but I would said it’s not the game changer I had hoped for.

I got this pump on the recommendation from my sister, who just had a baby. I was not disappointed! It’s great! It’s functional and easy to use. I would say you can’t do every task in them but you can be hands free to do simple things. The app is very user friendly and the bags are easy to store. Also, the customer support was very helpful and kind.

Absolutely love this pump! I have been exclusively using it for a few months. Has greatly enhanced my breastfeeding journey. Highly recommend!
As if being a new mom isn’t hard enough, who wants to strap yourself up to an old fashion pump, nipples out, bottles hanging off, tubes everywhere for ~20 minutes a session. Ugh! Enter Willow to save the day!
I have to admit, there was a learning curve. The first time I used the pump one of the disposable bags filled with air and pushed the pump apart, and I totally failed at the flip to finish. It was a disaster! With that said, now that I’ve got it down, I absolutely love the pump.
My favorite features include:
- Spill Proof - The pump is actually spill proof! This was my number one priority, and the reason I picked this pump over the Elvie. Willow’s spill-proof claims are 100% true. No leaks at all! I use the refillable containers which they warn could leak if you bent totally over but I typically don’t attempt handstands while pumping so we are good! Lol
- Fast and Efficient - It used to take me 20 minutes to pump with my Specta 1 (4oz from one boob). The Willow Gen 3 usually only takes 7-8 mins to fill the container (5oz).
- Easy to clean! - Way less parts than an old school pump. The pump comes with brushes which make parts easy to clean.

A would note two areas of improvement:
- Bulky Profile - This is for sure a wearable pump but I would not wear this in public, even under baggy clothes. The size and shape of my boobs with these on look crazy to me (and to my husband). This is the reason I gave it 4 stars. The rest of the product features far outweigh this negative point in my eyes but a lower profile would make this even better! It’s also worth noting wearability is one of the biggest items advertised, feels like a miss.
- App - Totally functional (I’ve tested the quantity measurements) but I was expecting something with more features given the cost of the product.

No Longer Dread Pumping

I used to dread having to pump due to the task it was to get everything hooked up and then having to stop doing anything but pump. With the Willow, I no longer dread having to pump because it is so simple to hook up and I’m able to continue doing pretty much whatever I need to be doing. It’s allowed me to clock out less at work, and was a huge life-saver when I was hit with the stomach flu. I really like the storage options and use both bags and containers to pump into, depending on where I physically am when I pump. The simplicity and mobility cannot be beat! While pumping overall (to me) is never an enjoyable task, the Willow has greatly decreased the anxiety and frustration pumping used to cause.
