Provides me so much freedom

I am an exclusive pumper and pump for the first year of my kids lives. I am on child number 4 and have had Willow for kids 3 and 4. Game changer! I can take my older kids to game, school events etc and still provide my baby breastmilk and not miss a thing.
My only complaint is that there isn’t a bottle versus bag option because the bags get expensive when you are immediately cutting them and then using to feed baby. But with that said, it’s worth it for the freedom willow gives me to still be active in my other kids activities.
As a mom of 4, firefighter and Crossfit coach I can tell you I’ve used willow while at my kids baseball games, while running calls on shift and while coaching a Crossfit class...none of these things would have been possible with any other pump on the market.

Well worth the learning curve

There is a definite learning curve with the willow pump, because it is so different from other breast pumps. Once you figure it out it is truly life changing for an exclusive pumper like me. I use the willow pump 3-4 times a day, while working, taking care of my toddler and infant, out doing errands, and love the convenience it affords me.

Finally Freedom for Pumping

So happy for a hands free device that allows me to provide for my baby yet get so much accomplished rather than being tied down to my pump. As an ICU nurse my time is very important, so instead of having to find time to take a pumping break all I have to do is put on my Willow and bam back to work! It took a few weeks for my body to get used to the pump but the only down side is I have large breasts 34DD and when I wear Willow I look bigger than Pamela Anderson with a bad boob job ha ha!!!

Life changing

I love that this pump is so portable! It’s great that I can get things done & go places while still pumping!
Pros: Portable, Relatively Quiet, Only 2 pieces to wash, spill proof!
Cons: I look awkwardly busty in public, bags are expensive, only 2 flange sizes to choose from, learning curve, can’t adjust volume in app, can’t switch suction in app, only comes with 1 charger.

Super convenient!

Bought this just for the convenience factor of being able to pump, tube free, quietly, and discreetly, while in the car or at a restaurant or while shopping! Although I hope that one day willow will come out with a 19mm flange. The standard size works fine, but I typically use a 19mm with my traditional pump and have a better result. Other than that it’s great for the in betweens when I can’t be tied up by a traditional pump!!

Great for on-the-go and work

Overall I've been very happy with Willow. Once I figured out how to use it effectively (through the initial instructions and videos in the app), I was pleased with how it allowed me to do other activities and be mobile while pumping. It also was key for travel as it allowed me to pump on flights, trains, and while visiting sights abroad. Now that I'm back at work, it is great to use Willow for pumping as I can also keep working at the same time. My only complaint is that it doesn't produce as much as the traditional pumps (i.e. my Spectra pump from insurance), even though I'm pumping longer with Willow, and that it sometimes has glitches in trying to remove those last drops of milk you want to retain from the FlexTube. Also Willow should provide two chargers or charge ports instead of one so that you can charge both pumps at the same time.

While purchasing bags is a negative, it’s still worth it. Willow allowed me to pump when I went back to teaching and helped keep my supply up. I never thought I’d be able to exclusively breast feed for this long, but I have and am so thankful! I was even able to increase my supply after two bouts of illness.

Life Changing for this Mama!

Overall, I’ve truly enjoyed this product. It has been life-saving and a complete game changer as I am now a mother of two. Pumping the first time around with my oldest child did not go as planned when I returned to work. With Willow all my worries have been eliminated. I have pumped at my oldest daughter’s dance recitals, driving, date nights, grocery shopping, laundry, and while getting those much needed naps in! With going back to work in a hospital setting, I am able to pump for my baby while providing quality care to my patients. Truly remarkable. I do wish the product came in smaller flange sizes as that has been an issue for me that I’ve worked through. Additionally, I wish the pump itself was a little bit smaller as I’m pretty petite but I am pleased and would recommend this innovative product!
