I work full time at a busy Emergency Vet Hospital and I’ve been able to successfully feed exclusively breast milk to my 7 month old. I also have a 3 year old so being able to take care of her and pump while on maternity leave was super helpful. I was able to go on a bachelorette party road trip and pump in the car the whole way there and back and while touring Nashville! I pump 3-4 times a day 5 days a week and they work all day on one charge. Plug them in when I get home and they are ready for the next day. All the parts are dishwasher safe which is a HUGE thing for me. There aren’t many parts to worry about cleaning in between pumps either. Measuring your nipple size ACCURATELY is the most important step to ensure a comfortable and productive pumping journey.
I don’t think I would have gotten this far otherwise, I am so glad I made the leap and tried this product. I joined all the Facebook groups and learned all that I could between real life moms and the YouTube moms.

Best worst pump

At first I couldn’t wait to get this pump I read reviews and watched so many videos, purchased the proper bras etc, BUT If you want an item you have to keep paying for this is your pump. With how much I spent on this pump I could have tried every breast pump out there. The convience of not being plugged into a wall is what makes this an ideal buy. The trouble is constantly having to buy milk bags because the containers don’t work after a month It stalls and blinks like it’s full even though there’s barley any milk and it’s all connected properly which is so stressful when your breast is full of milk and dripping. The bags with filange is your best bet but they are not reusable and if your milk doesn’t flow immediately it will fill the bag with air and then you have to use a new bag. If you only fill half a bag and place in fridge till next pump session it will balloon with air and not work. I Purchased all the filange sizes to find the right size, and had to purchase nipple inserts because it was still too big and caused bleeding, which slowed my flow on one breast because I couldn’t handle pumping as often till it healed. In addition to needing to purchase bags on a regular: every 2 weeks you also need an extra charger, and after all that the inside of my pump part that holds the filange broke so now I’m down to one pump working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible

My husband bought me this pump as a gift. He new I was going back to work and thought this would be perfect.
Unfortunately it’s been nothing but a headache. I’d be on my breaks and I only get 20 min. The entire time I’m just sitting there trying to get milk out. I have a great supply of milk. I was constantly engorged with this machine. I got the latch down perfect but the machine would never get out of stimulation mode. So I switched back to my Medela! I never had issues with the Medela it’s just more time consuming and I’m not mobile.
I’m very disappointed with the Willow. The price and they way it performs is not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Willow pump has made life so much less stressful. As a mom of 2 wild and active boys; 8 and 5. And new mom to twin girls. Breastfeeding and pumping is all new territory for me. And for a busy mom of 4, the Willow has made life much easier and less stressful to be able to provide milk for my babies but also spend time with my older boys!!

We have a love - hate relationship

This product is incredible - when it works. Which I would say is about 50% of the time. I feel like I am constantly trouble shooting why I am getting yellow error flashes. When it works I love it and it’s amazing. But it makes me very frustrated. I can honestly say I would get it again because at this point I could not imagine being hooked up to a wired pump. Even with the frustration. Also very tedious to clean the containers. Customer service is pretty good about sending new containers or pumps when something is broken. But being a working mom I hardly have time to be contacting their customer service 1-2 times a month and hunting down and providing them the info the need to send replacement parts.

Great investment!

Love that I can be hands free--pumping while taking care of the baby and older siblings, dishes, cooking, driving, working, even taking a bath (dont get them wet, of course!). Never would of made it as far as I have in my pumping journey without the willow!
Reusable containers are theee best!
Couple of downsides-- besides the fact that it takes some learning and trial and error, you'll figure it out eventually. Took me 2-3 weeks. The app needs some work. Would be extremely helpful if you could edit the amount that you pump during each session. Sometimes the pumps will take on air and show that you pump much more than what you do, throwing off your totals. I had to download a second app to help me track my daily pumping.
Wish it came with two chargers so you could charge each pump at the same time if needed.
