This pump is FABULOUS! It has given me so much freedom at work and home to continue my breastfeeding journey stress free! Nothing is perfect but this pump is pretty darn close if you ask me!

Love the pump but does not record accurate amount of milk. Also was having trouble with one of my pumps Bluetooth and I contacted customer service but it takes days to hear back from them. I ended up figuring it out on my own but overall, the pump is good and very convenient!

The product was not what i expected, especially for the price you pay. It is not quiet when pumping like advertised. My boobs never feel like they fully drained like when i use my regular pump. The bags are stupid expensive to buy and its extra money to get the reusable canister. You totally can tell I am wearing them under my shirt and cant “hide them,” like advertised. Otherwise, they are great on the go because they are small to carry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Learned to love it

It was definitely not love at first pump with the willow, but I really learned to love it. The first few times I had many issues, despite watching the tutorials. I reached out to customer service and they were more than helpful with walking me through the steps and giving other tips. I am both nursing and bottle feeding breast milk to my infant but I have an active 2.5 year old also. The willow allows me to still entertain him while being able to pump. My favorite part is when I wake up in the middle of the night to bottle feed the baby, I throw on the willow so I can pump at the same time. I still use my electric wall pump first thing in the morning and right before bed as I feel that it empties me better and quicker, but the rest of the pumps during the day are with the willow. I definitely recommend it, 100% worth the cost. I would recommend the reusable containers as well! I did extensive research on the willow, elvie, and freemie and ultimately decided the willow was the way to go. I am very happy with my decision!

Love this pump

I'm a mother of 4 children and a nurse. I have breastfed all my children and pumped when I returned to work. Often times I would not have time to pump at work. My milk supply would drop, and I would not reach my breastfeeding goals. But, willow has allowed me to pump and continue to work while pumping. I also feel like I am pumping more while I'm at work because I'm not akwardly sitting in a quiet room anxiously waiting to hurry up and get it over with so that I can get back to work. It's quiet. No one can hear you pumping when there is background noise. I got my free pump (Ameda) through insurance for back up, but have not needed to use it. I have built up a large freezer stash by just pumping with Willow. I prefer to use the containers instead of the bags to pump. Containers are easy to clean. The apps is great and accurately records the oz pumped. I love this pump. Get a willow and you won't dread pumping again.

Saved My Breastfeeding Journey

I was very hesitant to spend so much money on a pump because I was having a decent experience with my Spectra S1, but the Willow has absolutely been worth it. I had been 85% nursing/15% pumping for the first 4 months postpartum, but when my demands at school increased, I found it so hard to pump. I am a medical student who was required to attend classes that I had to sneak away from every few hours to pump. My supply was decreasing, I was feeling frustrated, and I was spending so much time setting up my pump, pumping, and cleaning it all up. I decided to take a chance on the Willow in the hopes that I would be able to use it mostly when I began my clinical rotations in the future. It was the best decision I could have made! I actually didn't get a chance to use it at school before my classes were made virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I use my Willow ~5x/day even at home. There's a bit of a learning curve and sizing is extremely important, but it is so worth figuring it out. The ability to pump while cleaning, eating, cooking, studying, taking a walk, etc is amazing! I would 100% recommend this pump to moms who work outside the home or who work caring for their kids at home. I almost never use my old pump anymore, but I recently did when I had forgotten to charge one of my Willow hubs. Even though I never disliked my Spectra when I used it at the beginning, after pumping with the Willow I realized how much better the Willow is! Suction is great, very comfortable, great output, long battery life and a quick charge time (I can go several days without charging even using it 5x/day), and so convenient. The only things I don't love about it is that it is louder than I expected and it doesn't look very subtle on my smaller frame, but those things are small compromises I am willing to make.

Love the pump, hate the app

I really love being able to pump hands free and without being confined to tubes! I do suggest this pump to anyone who plans to pump long term. I only have one suggestion with the actual pumps. I understand the smart pump technology changes the pumps to the level it thinks my breast needs, but once I adjust it it should stay at the level I adjust it to. For example; it starts pumping. My nipples are sensitive so I don’t like it over level 2. Well once I put it on 2, it still re adjusts itself once it goes into expression mode it goes back to 3! Once it’s adjusted manually it should stay that way. However there is major flaws with the app, which often makes my pumping session frustrating and leads to the 3 star review. Multiple times a week one of the pumps will disconnect from the Bluetooth. Sometimes the right, sometimes left, and I have to manually reset the pumps and reconnect to Bluetooth. Which often leads to me having a blind pumping session because I’m already pumping when I realize it’s disconnected again. I spoke to tech support about it and they offer no real permanent fix to this not happening anymore, only how to reconnect which I understand how to do. For being such an expensive pump, this shouldn’t be an issue. And the pump takes a lonnngg time to load how much is being pumped initially. If I start pumping and then open the app, it still shows me last pumping session for a good 45 seconds before realizing that I’m pumping now and loading up the current session. Anyway, like I said, love the pumps, hate the app!!

Game Changer

The willow was an investment that I wished I had bought sooner with my other pregnancies. Having young toddlers and a newborn, the freedom to not be hooked up to the wall is a game changer. The willow allows me to pump while multitasking, which we all know is important with kids. The website and app has great tips on how to properly work and manage your pump with simple, easy videos to follow.
If you are on the fence about this pump, it is well worth the money and freedom from a traditional breast pump. The pump is relatively quite. It is a little bulky while wearing it, but the benefits of this pump outweighs that. I would hands down recommend the willow to anyone who is looking for a great breast pump.
