So happy I made the purchase. I was on the fence for some time but totally worth it. Few things I wish I could change or add like being able to adjust suction from app but overall I love it!

The idea is great.

Over supplier here... the idea of this product is fantastic however when you have an over supply you might as well sit and pump because after 5-10 mins of pumping you have to go change the bags which for me even after weeks of trying to get it right it still takes an additional 10 mins to change the bags again. Since I have the 1.0 I can’t use the container which I think would make it much. I wanted to love this product so much but I don’t unfortunately.

Best pump out there!

I LOVE my willow pump. Before purchasing I asked a few friends if they liked theirs everyone said there’s a learning curve transitioning from another pump to the willow. I decided to use my willow before any other electric pump and I found it rather simple to use! I bought the pump when they first released the containers. I had a few issues always getting an error message that the parts weren’t connected right. After getting help from the support team, it turns out I just needed to clean out the valves more thoroughly! They were super helpful and it works perfectly since! I recommend this pump for all my mama and mama to be friends! I love being able to move around and how discrete you can be (wearing some baggy clothes on top) while pumping!

A nightmare experience

I gave birth to baby #4 on 1/2/2020. With my previous 3 babies, my milk came in a bit late due to baby having a shallow latch. So with this baby I had a plan with my OBGYN to pump after all feedings from the start to get things rolling. Having had to triple feed my babies in the past, I was ecstatic when I discovered Willow and ordered on 1/1/2020.
I went into labor early (1/2/2020–10 days before my due date). My Willow was waiting for us when we returned home from the hospital along with my Spectra pump from my insurance.
A lactation nurse from the hospital (and fellow Willow user) did a home visit the day after we got home. She ensured that my flange size was correct, we watched all the tips and tricks videos together and she assisted me with latching Willow on my right breast. I immediately felt excruciating pain so we unlatched and tried again several times. Finally, we achieved a lower pain level latch and set up the left side also achieving a lower pain level latch. I was stuck in stimulation mode, so the nurse had me hand express into the flange on the right side while pumping the left with the Spectra to try to get things going.
I got out of stimulation mode using the willow on one side and Spectra on the other but when I unlatched the willow (only getting 0.3oz compared to 1.5oz with my spectra) my nipple was blistered and bleeding. The lactation consultant came back 3 days later with instructions to not use willow so I could heal and we could try again. This time, same output but less pain latching willow and no blister formation.
We thought we got it right so I tried to continue with Willow. Days later, I ended up with a nipple perforation and mastitis. I called for a coaching session and was given one 2 weeks out—it’s scheduled for today, but my doctor and I are afraid for me to try again.

A Game-Changer!

I'm a mom of 5 who nursed all 4 of my other kids for the first year and even 2 years for our first daughter. Our newest baby has a milk protein allergy so exclusive breastfeeding is a must and I can honestly say that this pump is everything I wish I'd had with my previous children. I work in education full time and I also attend school online- with Willow, I can pump without missing a beat. I am able to pump in the car during school drop off, in my office at work, during my kids' sports events, while I'm cooking dinner- this is SERIOUSLY as good as it sounds. For anyone who is considering this pump: DO IT! You will not be disappointed!

Desparate

I bought the pump 2 weeks ago, I was very exited. The first time I used it I didn't get not even half of the regular amount that I usually got, so I reached out to you and you give me tips on how to correctly use the pump. I did everything you said and watched your videos and you tube videos and still nothing. From 5/4 ounces that I usually got by every breast I am getting 0.5 or 1 ounce. I am desperate because I feel I lost my money and a bunch of milk. Maybe it works for other people but not me. I wish I can have my money back.

Pretty awful - good concept/really poor execution

I had such high hopes, but it is overall awful and such a waste of money. First, the charger is gigantic and slowly charges ONE at a time. Come on. Second, it is impossible to pump without getting milk just all over during at least one of the steps. The flip to finish idea is so terrible and no matter how hard you try, milk spills out of the middle tube either before or while you’re dumping it out of the container. You can’t pump into containers without staying upright - if you bend over it spills everywhere. If you want to bend over, you need to use the million dollar bags. And then, the best part, is that you can’t get the bags open WITHOUT SCISSORS, because that is what every mom carries along?? Overall it is loud, has a short battery life, gets milk everywhere and has much less production than my normal medela. You also can’t see your nip in here so when it hurts you can’t easily readjust - it’s a pain to put on and take off. The app has good videos, but the tracking is poor and it only registers my right pump despite my best efforts and errors out telling me it’s full even after I have emptied the container. I haven’t been so disappointed in a product in a long time. Save your money and get a good pump with a battery pack instead.
