best thing right now

The Willow allows me to pump at work! I don't need to be tied to an outlet and I don't need to feel exposed. Yesterday, I was in an interview meeting and I wore the Willow during the meeting. I would not say you can get away with wearing it unnoticed, at least I can't. It makes my bust look huge and it does make noise.

Pumping Game Changer

I exclusively pump and I know 1st hand the inconvenience of having bottles with tubes hanging off your bare chest. Willow solves that. I would have given it a 5 star except even on its lowest settings it sucks too hard for my comfort so I can't use it more then once a day. The bags are a bit pricey too so if I'm not planning on freezing the milk I use a different pump. I wish insurance would have covered some or all of it because it did cost a lot but in my opinion it is worth it. I no longer have to isolate myself to pump and can keep my clothes on! Only downfalls I have found so far is my right side doesn't hold a charge as well as the other and it doesn't always register on the app. It still pumps, just doesn't appear on my phone and the digital measurements are not accurate. I wish there were lower settings for pump pressure because sometimes it gives my nipples little blood blisters from sucking too hard. Even with all that said, it's still a game changer in the pumping world.

A life changer; but, technology is new and has some quirks

Yesterday I cooked dinner while pumping. This morning I walked my dog while pumping. Two simple examples that prove that the Willow is an absolute life changer. I'm no longer hand-cuffed to my pump and it's many hoses and cords unable to pick up my crying baby or grab my phone that is just out of reach (how often has that happened...!). I couldn't say enough good things about the concept of the wearable pump. I'm under no illusions that "no one can tell I'm pumping" because wearing the pumps I am size GGG. But that's less important to me than just being free from the hoses and the plug. And, the pump actually is reasonably quiet (can use on a conference call without issue).
That said, the technology is still being worked on (and I'm sure the same is true for Willow's competitors). There are some quirks (the bizarre flip-to-finish, which thankfully does get easier and feel more natural over time) and some issues (app-related: mis-measurement, disappearing data). But, the customer service I've received so far has been excellent and they do seem to genuinely want to solve your issues and/or provide support.

Best purchase I made hands down! I hated pumping without the willow and also disliked carrying around a big plug in pump. I highly recommend this pump to every mom breastfeeding. You can just throw in your bag a use it anywhere which makes Things so much easier!

Didn't work

I am resilient when it comes to pumping. My first child was in the NICU. I exclusively pumped for ten weeks before she would latch. With baby number 2, I figured why not try the willow - if I could survive the NICU and exclusive pumping thereafter, I could certainly make the Willow work for me. Not true. The Willow is not reliable enough for me as a working mom. I used my Spectra instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth it!

I love my Willow. If it had not been for my willow pump, I would have already given up pumping. I’ve gone on vacation twice and have not missed a single moment with my family because I was able to quickly put on my pumps and join the fun! Other pumps require you to be connected to tubes and outlets, but not willow!! I wished I had this pump with my first born!!

Makes my life so much easier!

I absolutely love this product. I am an RN and I work long days and the floor I work on is so demanding that sometimes I don't get a chance to eat lunch or use the bathroom let alone sit and pump for 20 minutes! I just go in the locker room, put my pumps on and then go back to what I was doing..I can multitask, my patients have no idea I have them on and the fact that the milk pumps into a closed bag is so convenient! With my first baby I struggled with keeping my supply up and ended up having to stop around 7-8 months. By that time I was only producing about 16 oz a day when my baby was eating at least 2 times that. I have had no issues with the function of the pump and caught on how to use it quickly, however if you need help, the customer support is there for you! The only downside I would mention is the bags are not reusable and cost more than the standard breast milk bag and where you would use 1 bag per pump session, with willow you have to use 2. Also it comes with one charger, if it were a dual charger with 2 cords attached that would be awesome but for now you can buy a second charger if you want to charge them at the same time. These are the only reasons I did not give 5 stars. Otherwise I love it! It has come in handy when I've been so rushed and had no time to sit and pump.

Love the convenience

Absolutely love the convenience of the Willow. It is amazing and I love the suction it has and the amount of milk I produce. Yes, there was a learning curve coming from other pumps but as of right now I would say the Willow is one of my best pumps I’ve owned.
