Good pumps!

My only complaint would be that you have to re-pair the pumps to your phone every few days, otherwise they have really been an amazing tool for our journey! I would recommend them to anyone who pumps.

Love this pump. It’s truly hands free and allows me to move about and do what I need to. It pumps just as well as the hospital pump I used. I love that it keeps track of my supply per session and per day especially while my son has been in NICU so I know exactly how much I’ve given the hospital. Otherwise I’d have no idea except counting bottles (and I promise you, pumping or feeding every two or three hours is exhausting enough). Highly recommend for stay at home moms, moms on the go, and working moms. You won’t regret it! I would recommend “practicing” the flip before having baby. It’s a small learning curve when so much is going on plus medications, sleep deprivation, etc. Just put the pump together, add some water to where the milk would enter, and practice the flip that way so you’re not crying over spilled milk. Thankfully I produced enough from the start so I wasn’t in tears over a few drips, but I know some struggle at the start so spill water, not milk.

Incredible pump!!!

I used the spectra with my first 2 babies but each time, gave up pumping after a few months because I hated the suction pattern and most of all, hated being wired and tubed. So this time around I tried the Willow 3.0; I started pumping after 1 nursing session each day (I started pumping at 4 days PP because I am an overproducer and need to empty once a day with a pump to avoid mastitis.. learned that the hard way with a prior baby) and now only 16 days PP have a 70oz stash in the freezer!! The reusable containers are so easy to use once you figure out how to switch to setting #2 correctly so it doesn’t spill, and I’ve never had trouble cleaning, drying or assembling. I like the bags too but I have to scald my frozen milk so I prefer the containers unless I’m out of the house, then I prefer the bags. I respond well to the suction pattern and can empty both breasts in 5 minutes or less. And because I can be mobile while pumping, I find myself reaching for the Willow more than I ever used the spectra. If I can pop the pumps in my bra and continue doing dishes, making dinner, reading a book to my toddler, eating breakfast, etc then why wouldn’t I?! It’s made pumping so much more accessible for a busy mom like me. I often think to myself “wow if all I had was my spectra, I wouldn’t be pumping right now and I would have either lost this opportunity to add to my stash, or sent my body a message to decrease production”. And it gives me a good laugh to tell people I have a miniature printer in my bra (that’s what it sounds like if you listen closely). They are pretty big, not subtle, but it honestly doesn’t matter because they’re so great.

Great for working moms!!

I am a hairstylist and I normally work 8 to 9 hour days without a break. This pump has allowed me to be able to pump and work at the same time not losing any milk not losing any money. My second baby I was able to use the entire time breast-feed and pump for 15 months. My 3rd baby is 6 weeks and I went back to work this week and pumped over 80oz while breastfeeding! Love this pump!

Once you get around the learning curve...

This pump is amazing! This is my third BF journey but first time going with the hands free pump. WOW! What a freeing experience. It takes time to master the use and perfect the flip to finish, but it's worth it in the end. They key to using the containers is a good washing in the hottest water possible. I cannot say enough good things about this pump!

Positive: The hands-free freedom is absolutely amazing. That's the only reason I purchased these pumps. While using them, I have found some difficulties:- The milk bags are a little difficult to put in because the pumps are so sensitive to how the bags are inserted. I've had to redo them countless times and it's annoying when it's 3am. - The pump itself is so smooth that it makes them susceptible to slipping out of hands. - The Bluetooth connection is finicky. Which makes the app frustrating to use. - For how expensive these pumps are (even after insurance only covered a small portion), there seems to be some flaws.

I have done my research in pumps and couldn’t decide which one I wanted. After talking to my lactation consultant I then decided on the willow 3.0. I needed something that would stay on when I was doing house chores or taking care of my toddler or laying down to rest a bit while pumping. And this one did it! At first you think it doesn’t work that good because you don’t get that much but keep on pumping mama coz the supply is coming. I am very happy with my supply and pumps. Its discreet and easy to use and they are easy to clean to.

Takes a bit of adjustment, but once you get it, it's really convenient

I used this Willow on a trip, even pumped on the planes. Like I mentioned in the heading, it initially took a bit for me to adjust to flip and finish, and also not to spill the milk on myself when unlatching (this part is still a work in progress, I'm still getting some leakage). I also am a much bigger fan of the containers than of the bags; it feels much more environmentally friendly and gives me more options of what I can do with the milk.
