Good, but huge learning curve

I am pumping with the willow at work. I work in a hospital setting and the pumps are discrete under my scrubs. I don’t get any designated breaks to pump so oftentimes I see patients while pumping. The patients can hear the pumps which is not a big deal to me.
I have tried the containers, but the valves became clogged and I went through several containers before giving up and using the bags. The willow bags are very expensive, but the phalanges are easier to align than the containers. And I feel that the amount pump is more accurate than the containers.
But the willow is very convenient. I have also pumped in airplanes, a baseball game, and during a party.
I would definitely recommend the willow and I think the technology will continue to improve. Just be aware that it takes practice when using the pumps.

Best pump ever!!!

I use this pump multiple times a day while I'm at work. It's easy to set up and simple to use. Being able to keep track of everything on the app is super helpful. I do however recommend using it with the self-sealing bags instead of the containers. The containers are just really difficult to clean and you have to dump the milk into bags anyway.

Can’t beat the convenience!

I love my Willow for the freedom it provides me to pump anywhere! It is easy on/off, fits under any supportive bra. I use it at work, on the go, have pumped in an airport, even out at a restaurant. If you wear a loose shirt it’s pretty well concealed although a bit bulky if you wear a fitted shirt. My reason for not giving it 5 stars: the suction doesn’t quite compare to other pumps, I would not use it as my only pump, especially in the beginning…and if I feel I need to completely empty my breasts or might be getting engorged I prefer to use the medela or spectra pumps. Also, the bags only hold 4 oz and changing in the middle is annoying. It has made breast feeding for a year doable!

I absolutely loved my willow. My only complaint is how long it lasts. I’ve had it three months and it is having issues working already. I’m a busy icu nurse so this was a lifesaver when working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Given the price I would expect a pump for user friendly. I feel that it’s lot of steps to set up/disassemble. And each time, though I follow all directions, it leaks when transferring milk or doesn’t fully empty all the milk left in the pump.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this breast pump. I have exclusively breastfed with this being my 4th baby. It makes pumping a breeze and it is great to use for pumping at work. It is very convenient. I wish I would have had this with my first 3 babies. I can effectively pump and empty both breast in sometimes less than 5 minutes.

Most of the time this pump is great. It’s nice for on the go or traveling or pumping at work. Much easier to pump and do dishes or chase around my toddler. However, when the pump is not working or it doesn’t fully empty me, that puts me in a predicament because I was relying on it. So it’s a great product overall but definitely have a back up if you’re traveling.
