Not for me
on May 15, 2023

I purchased the willow pump with hopes that it would help me stay more consistent with pumping, I have a toddler and a 7 month old and sitting down to pump is much harder than it looks. Since I purchased and received the pump I have been unable to get the pump to read the amount I’m pumping accurately. I have tried every tip and trick I can find on YouTube and on the Willow Help section and I cannot figure out how to correct the issue. The flanges I have are the correct size and I’ve dismantled and reassembled more times than I care to to make sure the seal is on there properly. Very disappointed as these are not cheap pumps.

They’re hard to clean and not ideal for on the road or away from the home to pump. You have to rinse right away when you are done.

Love my willow 3.0 reusable containers! They enable me to pump on the go while working as a busy anesthesia resident!

Pretty great

Only improvement would be if the containers came apart at the outer edge. I appreciate fewer parts to clean, but having the collection container all in one piece means it’s harder to clean and ultimately to dry, if you’re pumping more than once or twice a day. Also, PLEASE develop a material that can be sterilized in the microwave with steam bags! I use these to pump at work, I’m an ICU nurse working 12 hours shifts and breaks aren’t guaranteed. I certainly won’t have time to thoroughly clean parts between pumping.

Messy.

I’ve had the pump/containers for a week now and so far. Messy is what I can say now. I’ve read there is a learning curve so hoping it gets better. I do fill up quickly so I have to change often. I do like the mobility aspect. As well as discreet sound. My pump volume is accurate on the app.

3.0 Milk Containers

I like the idea of reusable containers, but I had some leaking the first few times I tried the flip to finish. I wish there was more indication if the air valve was closed properly or not. They're also not the most convenient to clean. I like that they're dishwasher safe, but hand cleaning could be a little easier if there was a brush that gets all the nooks and crannies. I love them otherwise!

Don't Last

Everyone I have spoken with at willow is great, however, I feel the product as a whole is lacking. Not worth what I paid. The app continually disconnects from my pumps. One of the containers I just bought for some reason does not connect to my pump. Simply not worth the money (in my opinion).

More trouble than they’re worth
on May 28, 2023

When we used the storage bags, our biggest issue was all the extra waste. With the milk containers, my biggest issue is that now the pumps seem to have more issues just even getting started. The pump parts can be cleaned and ready to go, put together correctly, but there’s almost always an error message resulting in taking the pumps apart several times. There are times it’ll be in stimulation mode so long and no milk will be extracted at all resulting in extremely sore nipples. To me, it’s worth the extra waste to not have these issues. I dont Find this any more convenient. This shouldn’t be an issue with a pump that costs this much.
