I love the milk bags and the pumps. However, my reusable containers leak extremely bad. I’ve watched video after video to make sure I had everything hooked up right, and it still leaks. I feel like buying the containers was a waste of my money. :(

Willow Gen 3 pump with the milk bags

The bags don’t sit comfortably in the Willow pump unless you crinkle it up prior to putting it in. The bags are spill proof which is great. But, when detaching the bag from the flang you loose milk. You do learn that in the set up video’s. But, as a nursing mom trying to provide & feed my baby each drop of milk is like liquid gold. Every drop adds up & counts.

Good bags

Pros-truly are spill proof, nothing is getting out of these. You can warm them in your bottle warmer, freeze them etc
I know they’re spill proof but I wish there was a way to easily rip off the tab to pour the milk. I have to either use my teeth in a pinch or locate scissors. When using the bags, it will say all full when it’s only at 2 oz more often then not. When using bags it is also grossly inaccurate on how much you’ve pumped

Bags are 100% easier!

I recently had to buy the containers because the bags were out of stock and it was a nightmare! I had to reboil the parts twice before they would actually work and when pouring out it was extra messy. These bags are a life saver! I ordered 4/50 packs this time haha

Go for the bags…

I would not be able to pump without my Willow. That being said, the containers are completely faulty and are unreliable. The bags are my go-to with my Willow pump. I’ve only had an issue with one bag out of the hundreds that I’ve used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They are annoying and not the easiest to put in every time. I was also extremely frustrated that my expensive willow pump did not come with the reusable milk containers and forced you to continuously purchase bags.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
