[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for my college student. No more chokes and crashes; meets needs including videoing and digital art design. Would have wanted features as a pen and fingerprint sign in, but let go for this price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great buy at this price, semi optane drive is kinda dumb and slower than newest pcie m2. If ryzen 5000 had been out i would have gotten that over my 11th gen, this is better than a 10th gen i5 by a significant margin when including the graphics improvements. Graphics weakness can be seen on Google Earth pro even with G7 graphics, but its more than useable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Pavilion computer for my daughter. She is very happy and impressed with the look and quality of the computer. The pen stopped charging after three charging cycles. I opened a repair ticket and we received a new one in 2 days!!!
needed to get a new version of the old one that has what I need on it. Note: I am not tech savvy. It is much easier to turn off. Has a key on key board that is easy to use. Tiny button on side of old one was very difficult. Only has 2 UBS ports rather than 3. Does put off a lot of heat. I use 4 small plastic cups to elevate it and help the heat dissipate. Hp did not transfer stuff (files, apps etc.) from old to new. For some one with very limited computer skills this was a near disaster.
I really do like my new computer except that it won't update when I am asked to do so. It reaches a certain point, and then the message is that it can't complete the update so must undo all of the updates it had made so far. I am not happy about having to take it in to be fixed when I only had it for a few weeks.

Bought this to replace a 5 year old laptop that bit the big one. Very fast with lots of nice features, especially considering the price. Will use the "tablet mode" only occasionally but it's nice to have the capability.
