Received earlier than expected. Purchased for distance learning and while it takes a bit of getting used to after normally working on a larger machine, though it is way easier to transport than a 17 in laptop. So far working well for it's intended purpose. Using as a tablet seems a bit weird because when you flip the screen all the way back depressing the keyboard keys is almost unavoidable unless you have monster strong hands to hold it by the edge with one hand while using the other hand to touch the screen. Depressing the keyboard keys while in tablet mode doesn't do anything, I just worry about breaking something with excessive unintentional use. This is not a huge issue for me though as I simply appreciate having a touch screen on my laptop. All in all great little machine for the price.
I have 2 HP laptops already. So when a friend needed one for himself but couldn't afford one I decided to purchase one for him. This is the first time I have had problems with HP. It was late coming so I couldn't take it to him and then the problem with the operating system in set up. I really need to have this back by the evening of October 7th. I would have given this a 5 star rating but will once I get it back before I leave on the 8th. I hope someone follows this return and gets this HP computer reset and operating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Load times are smooth as silk, responsive touch screen and pen, light and portable design. Only complaint is there is no way to wake up from sleep mode while in tablet ode.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop and I've had it for about two weeks now and it came with a stylus, the laptop had no problems with the touchscreen and was able to flip easily. The computer itself is very fast, the start-up is quick and everything runs very smoothly! I can't say for gaming but I recommend this laptop all the way, for work and just in general use.
