Great other than Intel Optane Memory and Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has been perfect for my needs, however, it consistently had extremely high CPU usage to the point that the fan was running full speed all the time. After some diagnostics, it was determined that Intel Optane Memory and Storage has a pinning feature that was causing the issue and had to be disabled. Why have that feature in the first place if it is going to cause a laptop to overheat?
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, this computer randomly shuts off and has to be restarted. We’ve installed updates and changed settings, but the problems persist. I thought I was buying a solid piece of hardware for my daughter to do her college assignments, but didn’t get the reliability of a much cheaper laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have macular degeneration ( both eyes), so I needed to be able to adjust the contrasts of text, etc. to see them. This computer worked beautifully. It's also fast. The only thing I'm having trouble with, is the screen every now & then blanks out. It will come back, if I close the laptop, & reopen it. I would recommend this computer, especially if you have eye problems.
