Don't buy for PS5 Stopped working! Lost all games!

I bought the WD - D30 2TB Game Drive for PlayStation last year, it was good for playing PS4 games and storage for PS5 games. however yesterday it stopped working completely. I have lost all my games. I am very upset about this. This is unacceptable!

It’s western digital blue inside opened the shell

It’s actually a wd blue nvme inside being made to look like wd black do not purchase this it lasted for about 6 months before it quit

I can't set it up and I need help

I tried to format as Extended Storage but it says "cannot format this USB storage device as extended storage. A USB storage device that meets the following conditions must be used."
• USB 3.0 or later
• 250 GB, 8 TB maximum capacity
• Directly connected to the PS4
Please help what does this mea.

Love this little hard drive. 5 stars because it's just as fast as the internal and you can install all your xbox series games on it without worrying about uninstalling for space reasons

My storage issues have been solved, and download times have been extremely reduced, no more waiting almost an entire day to install a game now I can just leave for an hour or so we’ll doing a lesson and it’ll be done when I look again, definitely recommend if you don’t already have a modified ps4 with SSD or an extended storage SSD already.
Interns of setting it up it was basically just plug and play, minus some time for me to let the system write the SSD as a storage device and to also move all my current games over to it, all in all that probably took about an hour to write and transfer almost a full 500GB ps4 hard drive of games over to my 2 TB SSD
