Light and fast..fan high pitched. Good value. So light though plugging in usb power takes two hands as it slides along table. Not quite as expected and can makes whine or whistles.. likely because so thin. Touchpad is cheap and sticky...plastic. fingerprint reader dodgy..50/50 first time. Overall, too many compromises.
I wanted a lightweight laptop for travel. This computer is indeed lightweight, but the battery life remains to be seen. It seems it's only 4 hrs so far, which would make it less-than-ideal for travel. Hopefully, this will improve with some use. Also, it is not particularly fast, despite SSD, etc. Sometimes, the screen just goes black momentarily. We'll see if that persists. Finally, as others have stated, some genius decided to put the power button next to DELETE button, rather than at the extreme left, as other HP laptops have. Just silly.
First impression is feeling lighter than expected. I had concerned that Ryzen CPU was powerless for my usage before purchasing, but it could satisfy with my heavy work. Graphic, SSD, sound; all are more than expected.
I wasn't looking for a cutting edge laptop; I needed something small and light that would run Microsoft Office and let me do email and zoom meetings on the road. This laptop works really well for that purpose. It's small and very light, and it was very easy to set up. An excellent choice for someone who travels and has modest computer needs.

Exactly what I was looking for in a travel laptop. Fast processor, great keyboard, good brightness, higher resolution option makes a difference on the eyes and creates a larger desktop on a small screen. Touchpad clicks are a little stiff, but not annoyingly so. RTL8852BE wifi driver not automatically found in Linux Mint install, so Windows it is.
