Very good unit so far and happy with the purchase. Use it in my basement which is 600 square feet open concept. Humidity level in the summer can reach over 55% which is too high for the cork flooring. This dehumidifier is able to keep it between 40 and 45 % without any trouble and with fan on either low or medium. Compressor shuts off when humidity level is reached but fan will keep working for a period. That too will eventually shut off if humidity level is stable.Unit turns on again automatically when humidity level rises. First week I emptied tank daily and this week it’s been every couple of days. Unit is quiet at low and medium fan speeds, but I turn it off if I’m watching TV. Four star rating is because it’s only been 3 weeks.

I did not know that my basement is so wet

It is extracting a lot more moisture than I have expected. For the first couple of weeks I have the dehumidifier on, the bucket was filled every few days which is a lot faster than my old dehumidifier. The warranty period is only one year, I hope it will last for many years.

Perfect machine

Bought the dehumidifier not to long ago have used it pretty extensively and gotta say its made a huge difference we noticed a change within the day and its helped keep our half basement apartment a lot less sticky and humid.

I have been using the dehumidifier for several weeks and am very pleased. It worked well right out of the box. I hooked up a hose at the back so I don’t need to empty the tank. The hose leaked at first, but that was fixed by adding plumbers Teflon tape.
I would recommend this to a friend!
