Quiet, works well and easy to operate.

When looking for dehumidifer for our 1700 sq ft home I came upon this. Thus far a month or two in, it has worked well. The floor casters are handy,3 speeds nice and emptying it once a day is easy. I set the humidity control and forget it. At this point I recommend it.

Very Quiet

We bought our dehumidifier about 3 weeks ago to replace another brand. We are very happy with the unit, It runs very quietly as our other unit had a very loud compressor. We have had water issues because of the heavy rains in our area and so our basement was very humid. Thanks to Frigidaire our basement is nice and dry.

Did its' job!

I bought this dehumidifyer for our small exercise room. The rubber floor in my room was wet from persperation from my son who sweats a bucket when he uses the stationary bike. It seems the floor never gets to dry naturally and I was concerned with mold and rot ocurring to the wood subfloor. After 4-5 days of continually use, the dehumidifyer shut off by itself because the bin was full of water and my rubber floor appears dry!

Solved My Humidity Problem from a new Heatpump

I switched to heat pump system last fall and when I changed to cooling it leaves far too much humidity in the air unlike a conventional air conditioner. The basement started to smell musty. When got my new dehumidifier, I turned on continuous operation and attached a hose to a drain in my basement. The smell was gone in 48 hours and the humidity reduced considerably!. It's now set to keep everything at a comfortably dry 50%.

Stinky Basement Gone

We purchased this unit less than a month ago. We have a hundred plus year old house and the foundation walls are original. When we renovated the basement we put a water proof barrier between the cement floor and the wood subfloor this helped to eliminate the moisture or keep it between the barrier and the cement base. However it did not eliminate the musty smell from the basement. We ran the unit at full for a week and needed to empty the collection container every day. It is now running at 40% and takes about 3 days to fill. The smell is barely noticeable and I bet 4 months from know it will be gone. We are amazed at its ability. Highly recommend this unit.
