Soap is OK, nothing special other than size of the bar. The Victory leaves dark green stains/residue on my built-in tile soap rest that's hard to clean and looks like mold due to color.
But big complaint is the insane amount of emails and texts and online ads everywhere after purchase. They drive you nuts, but unsolicited text advertisements are a huge no-no and deal-breaker for me. So if you are going to buy, get it at retail location not online from them so they don't have your personal info.
I think all the ones I got smell OK, nothing spectacular, but OK scent. Every female has ranged from meh to ewww smelling the different ones, so there's that. It's big enough that a fresh bar will make bathroom smell like it for almost a week (then it doesn't even though plenty still there), so if females share that bathroom, they will gripe.
Overall most mainstream bar soaps are much less than a buck and these = about 2.5 bars. I'll just change bars of Dial or Irish Spring or whatever more frequently for less than half the cost and not worry about getting unsolicited text messages about soap.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upon opening the box, the soap smelled really good. After 3 uses in the Tactical Scrubber, it now smells nothing like it did. It now smells like a soured wet rag. I took it out of the scrubber and used it a few times by itself and it didn’t change the way it smelled.
