Accomplishment Inconsistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent in the Accomplishment THICK shower gel, so I ordered a couple of big bars of Accomplishment soap, but the soap doesn't smell like the gel, in fact it doesn't smell like much at all. It works fine, but can't Duke make a bar of soap smell like the THICK gel with the same name?

Where’s the scent ???

Not so long ago, Duke Cannon made a great antiperspirant deodorant called Trench Warfare. The bergamot black pepper variety was awesome and the smell was incredible. Heck, you could be cheap and skip putting cologne on. And then like so many other things you find and love, it disappears into the abysss and you regret that you don’t have more. So when I saw this soap, I figured (and I guess hoped) it would have the same wonderful aroma of the bergamot and black pepper deodorant. I can’t really say that I detect any scent in this bar of soap. It’s big and lasts a long time. Like other reviews, I find that it dries my skin out, so I tend to use it in the summer months so I don’t feel so sweaty and greasy on those hot, humid days. I was hoping for a more go-to product. Unfortunately this isn’t it.

It's encouraging that 5-star online reviews are often assumed as paid bots or customers up until you're tickled by a product/service and want to detail your great experience as a paying customer. I overcame this concern (of an already primitive review system) and came here to tell you all that this cinnamon-y bar o' soap was priced well in like 2022ish, seemed to clean and exfoliate thoroughly, and smelt so great that several years later my dogs genuinely try to eat the cardboard cuz it still smells delicious (I kept the box since i enjoyed the soap and like to archive stuff). Loved it and hope I convinced somebody to try it, as a fellow bathing homo sapien. <3
