Grocery store soap smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one really threw me off. One of only 2 Duke Cannon bars I truly did not like the smell of. It smells very feminine and reminded me a lot of cheap grocery store soaps like Lever or Dove. Very flowery and perfumey.

I’ve tried several Duke Cannon soaps and this sent is my favorite. Giving it 4 stars because it could give a stronger sent but regardless is still great.

Smells Ok, cleans GREAT!

This has quite an old, musky smell. Not musty--musky. Like a vintage cologne. Not a huge fan, but I love the soap nonetheless and the smell isn't overpowering so it doesn't ever deter me from using it!

Green is gold!

Love this soap! I have always had eczema and very sensitive skin (the no bubble bath as a kid, avoid almost all public soaps, need mostly oat-based products, wash mainly in cold water, just sneeze on me and my eczema flares up type of sensitive skin) and am allergic to a lot of artificial fragrances, so trying new products is always a game of chance. Thankfully, this soap has not bothered my skin one bit so far – if anything, it works better than what I have been using and the scent is great! The bar is well-coloured because it just smells so green and fresh. There are grassy notes and maybe a hint of vetiver or juniper, but the way those smell with new growth in the spring rather than in their more mature stages. If I use it in the bath instead of the shower there is a bit of a green residue at the water line but it rinses right off when the water drains.

Kinda weak

So far, this is my least favorite. The scent is just too weak and doesn't last. Also, the color/dye (I'm sure it's natural stuff) of the soap will stain and flat ruin whatever type of scrubber or washcloth you're using. Like all BABOS, it does last a long time and the lather production is great.

Please make this scent a Cologne + body wash & shampoo

This has to be one of the best scents Duke Cannon has if this was a cologne and shampoo I'd buy it asap.
