Small yet surprising
on March 13, 2023

I bought this beautiful bag as an everyday work bag for laptop, files, water bottle, extra pair shoes in winter and it works great. I used it on an overnight trip to Canada as a carry on. The planes were extremely small but this bag ALWAYS fit in the overhead compartment, while other folks had to check their bags at the gate. Bag could use an exterior water bottle pocket. I did had some trouble getting packing business clothes in back compartment. I strongly recommend that you take a larger tote bag as personal carry on item for extra space. Great thoughtful functionality. Overall love, love this bag.

Lovely underseater

What a beautiful bag. I'm 5'2" and petit with a bad shoulder. When I travel long internationally, carrying backpacks and tote bags kill my shoulders. This bag is perfect for walking through terminals and having necessities with me for the flights. Not too big & not too small for me. Inside is well organized with different compartments and pockets. Sturdy constructions with Tumi quality. Love it!

Not balanced and squishes
on May 1, 2023

The bag isn’t balanced. The wheels need to be further out- if you put a heavy just in case bag on top, this bag falls over. It also squishes under pressure. I have another brand bag that I can put a cpap and a full just in case bag on top with no issues. I was hoping this bag would work because my other brand bag makes it difficult to get the laptop out, but that bag has more structure and can handle stacking bags on top with ease so this one is going back.

Not what I expected

This is my least favorite Tumi bag. The idea was to use this in place of my back pack for my laptop and things for a second carry on or for a quick over night trip but honestly my back pack holds more than this thing. Because of the handle, there’s not much room inside. Also the design of the front pocket is bad, you can hardly get to things in it without the flap in the way. It doesn’t fit under some of the plane seats, even in first class so I can’t use it as a second Cary on. Big waste of money here!

Great bag for on-plane access
on July 8, 2023

I love this bag. I travel often and this is my new go-to carry on for anything I want access to on the plane, it fits beautifully under the seat. Too small to be my only bag—can’t see trying to pack for a weekend in this—but as a supplement to my larger carry-on or a checked bag it’s perfect. A major back saver! No more heavy shoulder bag carried through the airport. This fits in top of another bag or glides on its own with ease.

Not the quality you expect for the price

This is a pretty bag but the wheels and balance are very poor quality. I have this and the larger continental one and both are going to the dumpster. I won’t be purchasing any more rollers from you but I do still love my backpack.

Just for looks, not for real traveling/travelers

So small, lightweight and stylish that I have bought several over the years (rolling bag plus backpack) but I'm finally going to quit. I hate to buy another brand's set since you can always find room in the overhead bin for this, it's so small and you can fit just enough for 10 days (if you plan to do laundry and purchase toiletries where you go) and the backpack fits under the seat in front so you're good to go. Also, with my physical problems I can still lift it into the overhead bin just fine. But I can't justify it anymore. Why not? 1) not durable. I suppose if you never took it out on the street and only rolled it on an airport floor it might last a little longer but very little time on a city street and the wheels get mucked up in a way that Samsonites never do. It stops running smoothly within a very short time, and your arm is killing you trying to keep it moving; 2) Again, taking it on a sidewalk if there is a tiny bit of gravel forget it-- the flimsy fabric around the wheels will very soon start to pull away and leave the bottom looking like a homeless person's luggage. I have still used it anyway when it got like this, since while it's rolling upright the fabric on the rest of the bag still looks great but then; 3) as the fabric pulls away, if you are unfortunate enough to let the zipper go to the bottom so you can open it up completely, you will find one of the zippers will fail eventually so you're just glad you got from A to B without it all just falling apart. Unfortunately this one is just for looks, not for real use.

Great bag for travel

Perfect bag so far. Fits easily under airplane seats I’ve used. Spinner wheels smoothly roll through airports. Lightweight compared to most bags near this size. Outside fabric durable.
