Trimmer and battery are fine (would give 5 stars). Charger arrived half way full. After 2 and half hours of charging was full. Next charge was impossible, I was trying for 4 hours and battery was only 1/3 full. Evidently charger is defective (I hope Greenworks will give me new charger).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery / charger, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

I have previously purchased Greenworks 80v snowblower and leaf blower. They're both phenomenal. The only drawback with the blower is the weight of the battery. For that reason I decided to get the trimmer with the 24v battery. It's lightweight, super easy to use and works very well. The reason for 4 stars is because it could use a touch more power.

Just received a cosmetically defective item. A returned saw, possibly? I’m doubtful of it’s quality since it got shipped out despite a blatant arrow sharpied on the product to the defect.
