Worked for a week then stopped

It worked okay for a week or so (some USB ports were upside down but okay). Then the lights started to flicker, worked only sometimes.
I connected only my headset to the stand, and after two or so weeks from purchase date it started to die out, and now I can't connect anything or it won't work. It sits there, and I still use it as a headset stand, but definitely not worth the money spent.
