Not only can I use this to mix my smoothies but I can also use it for so much more such as mixing ingredients together to m a ke sure there mixed just right before putting in with other stuff or just making sure it's all equally mixed up. Love my smoothies in my power Crusher everything is much more more smoother and taste awesome.

Hard to Blend

This blender does not do well with frozen fruits. You constantly have to stop and mix up the fruits for it to start blending again. I would not recommend this unless you just want it for milkshakes and no frozen fruits.

I am a disabled 76 year old widower that loves mixing exotic drinks for myself, family, and guests. I have had several blenders in my life and I finally have one that totally fills the bill. It is great for crushing the ice for drinks and smoothies. The cleaning feature is great. Have already recommended it to several people.

Cracked base :(

I bought this blender about 2 months ago, and absolutely LOVED it.. until this morning. The base cracked, and my liquid came flooding out. I can't afford to run out & buy another blender. I thought by buying a Black+Decker appliance, I was buying something that would last & be of good quality. I am so disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
