[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Black and Decker PowerCrush Multi-Function Blender and I love it!. The blender has its base and it comes with a glass jar. The Lid has two closed openings, one is the pour spout and the other one is the ingredient slot which I like because if I need to add something else into the jar I open the slot and easily add it in. I have been able to crush my ice to make icy drinks, blend ingredients to make taco sauce, made smoothies and shakes and even used the blender to make bread crumbs with dry cereal. It has 4 speeds and it comes with an easy clean button to make cleaning easy. The jar is 48 oz. which is 6 cups and the parts are dishwasher safe.

It worked well, quickly, and everything blended was smooth and even. I made fruit smoothies using frozen fruit and it got blended into small chunks and evenly mixed the fruit. It was easy to clean and easy to store. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new blender or a blender upgrade!!

An Unexpected Waterfall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hopes were high for this attractive blender. The image on the box promised a sleek, multifunctional machine and one I was eager to use. All was well when unpackaging the machine, it was easy to remove the tape, quick to assemble and within minutes, I was ready to create my smoothie. I was surprised, however, how lightweight and plastic the machine felt. However, upon beginning to pour the liquid into the jar, the liquid quickly began pouring out all over the kitchen counter and floor. I tried to quickly mop up the liquid before tightening the bottom of the jar. It already seemed fairly tight, so I wasn't sure what the problem actually was, but still attempted to complete my smoothie.
On a positive note, the blender itself quickly and efficiently puréed and blended the smoothie to the consistently I was hoping for. Though, when I removed the jar from the machine, it once again began leaking out the bottom onto the counter and floor. Overall, I was very disappointed in this machine and perplexed as to what was causing the leaking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BEST BLENDER!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this blender! Perfectly crushes ice for smoothies, blends easily. and love the two slots on the top of the cover. And also the glass bowl - so much better and long lasting than plastic. It's not too loud when it's on. Have only used it for smoothies so far, can't wait to try more things!
