On both of this model we purchased recently the protective film on the shelves leaves lines which take much too much time and effort to try to remove with alcohol or vinegar. The front extension in front of the propane tank should be longer to better hide the tank from view. One came with steel/chrome grids and the other with cast iron grids which is odd. Design, materials, fit and function are exceptional although the sides of the grids appear much cooler than the rest.

The smart features of the grill work great. Particularly impressive was how easily it was to get it onto my wifi and connected to my phone. In fact, it was the easiest process of the many IOT items I have in my home. I love using the probe and knowing from inside the house where the meat is at in the process. Loving it!

Replaced a genesis silver B (24 years old) the new grill has many upgraded features, really wish they would offer a fully porcelain coated grate, like I have on the silver B (it is 24 years old and still looks brand new). the wifi link is handy to keep an eye on the temperature while preparing food in the kitchen, size is nice, cooks very evenly, and the temperature control is quite useable.
