Love the look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These antique looking Edison Wi-Fi LED Smart Bulbs are the best light bulbs. Not only are they stylish and give off a very unique look, but because they are smart bulbs they are just that much more awesome. Super easy to set up on the app and just as easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light bulbs are nice looking and versatile, the clear glass looks artistic so I decided to try them in my driveway fixtures. These are replacing two Phillips Hue lights with a hub. The bulbs shine brightly and are dimmable. Also you can dial the white light color from daylight to warm (blue to yellow spectrum effect). I like these features and I like that it can operate without a separate wifi hub. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the bulbs.
The geeni app is not as user friendly as the hue app. I was easily able to program the hue lights to turn on at dusk (they calculate the daily time change) to fade into dim at 10 pm and turn off at midnight. While I believe that the geeni lights may have this capability, I was not able to figure it out. The light controls and automation features are a bit cumbersome. The best I could do is to turn the lights on at 5:30 each day and off at midnight, no automatic transition features are readily available.
After some trial and error I finally got it programmed and functioning for a few days then one of my kids walked into the garage and accidentally turned off the light switch. Without a control hub, this apparently caused the light to require reprogramming.
Overall I would recommend this product for an application for an attractive bulb where you want to manually control the settings. If you want programming for the geeni lights then you might need a technician to assist.
