great toy to spark creativity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my family received this free in exchange for our honest opinions. my kids LOVED it! they all, boys and girls wanted turns in it, both driving and riding. the Power Wheels Jeep has so much to offer kids of a wide age range. my little boy used it to "haul wood" while his sister used it to transport her bears to the tea party. it was very well loved and received by all. the children had no complaints ;) it easily transitioned from grass to gravel to cement, it "hauled" two of my children at almost all times with no hesitation, and it was forgotten in the rain one night- and worked perfectly fine the next day!! :) -- the adult that did the assembling did have a few minor complaints but it was assembled quickly and easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls have been asking for a Power Wheels for some time now and we had been putting it off. Now I wish we had done it sooner! First off:assembly. The packaging is efficient, and in a manner that the parts are well nested to protect smaller bits from getting damaged in shipping. This box does weigh quite a bit, and is large, so you may need help lugging it into where you plan on putting it together. We opted to use an electric driver to save us some time. Other than a screwdriver, all other tools are included in the box. Set aside at least two hours (especially if your kids are “helping” with assembling it. We read all of the instructions first, then tasked the girls to help us stage the parts. The instructions are step by step and visual as well as written. It is relatively easy to put together, but there are a LOT of pieces. I would suggest having a longer handled and shorter handled Phillips head screwdriver to get into some of the tricky parts. The battery takes 18 hours to initially charge, so you might want to plug it in the night before. It also takes 3 AA batteries in the dash for the radio.
Materials: I was happy with the materials in the construction. The plastic is both sturdy and flexible to handle rough play. I was pleased with the colors as well, with the hot pink trim having an almost pearlescent sheen to it, giving it that princess sparkle. The stickers were all made of vinyl, adding to the durability of the product. The motors and gear box seem well constructed and built to last.
Features: two speeds (hi and low) and reverse. Durable plastic tires that run well on grass and pavement. We have a 6 y.o. and a 4 y.o. riding in it and it still hauls at about 5mph on high, in the grass. Having owned several Wranglers over the years, the hood latches, half doors, and light bar were spot on! There is a small area in back to store toys and the radio plays princess music and has phrases from several Disney Princesses. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about this vehicle!

Cracked In Body Where Roller Bar Is Attached

Jeep was given as a Christmas gift for a 4 year old child. Within only a few rides (without mistreating the jeep) the rear of the jeep where the left roller bar support attaches has cracked. At this moment I would not recommend this item due to the poor durability. I have submitted an email to Fisher Price in hopes of getting this issue resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Such a fun experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls (ages 4, 3, and 3) loved the Jeep. It was easy to drive and had nice power, but not so much I was worried about their safety. Since two girls could go together, it was fun for them to take turns driving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby girl is in heaven, she loves the Disney Princess' and she loves to dress up like them all the time so you can just imagine the excitement she felt when she saw this jeep. When she wakes up in the morning thats the first thing she wants to do is go drive her jeep, we charge it at night and she drives it all day and it holds a great charge! The details and colors are really awesome on this jeep, super easy to assemble and easy for her to drive.

Amazing "Rugged" Vehicle with Princess Power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What kid doesn't wanted a Power Wheels vehicle? As a parent of a little girl who loves monster trucks and princesses, this version of the Power Wheels line speaks to her tastes! The Jeep style of the vehicle speaks to her imagination when going on adventures, while the pink Princess decals makes it beautiful enough to take her to the next royal ball!
Putting together the structure was amazingly simple, as I followed the instruction manual step by step. Everything was easy to install with the provided wench tools and a standard screwdriver. The best part was all the screws were one size, and the pieces were clear to identify. While being made of mostly plastic, the pieces felt very strong and durable.
After putting together the Jeep, my daughter immediately climbed right in, to test the seating, as the battery was set to charge for the first 18 hours. Despite being extremely tall and large for her age (she is 5 years old, but is 49" tall), she was able to seat herself in the car for pretend driving. Unfortunately, also because of her size, she took up most of the 2 seats, so it isn't possible to have a second child ride with her. But she is okay with that.
When the battery was set, we took it for a test drive down the block. She had a bit of trouble because of her long legs, but was able to get the vehicle to drive. While we saw that there is an option to advance the speed, we left the power to minimum speed since this is her first time "driving" any kind of powered cars. Even with going at a slow speed, she still felt very accomplished with her new car and her self-driving that she declared she can now go shopping on her own. Her next trip, she even packed a picnic for the back of her car. LOL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was over the moon when the FedEx truck dropped this off. It was pretty easy to assemble too maybe an hour (only because I went super slow to let my 3yr old “help”) to put it together. And I was able to do it without another adult although it does recommend 2 adults to put together the rear wheels. Over all the toy is very well constructed and strong. It has a weight limit of 130lbs which was perfect because it allowed my 8yr old son to ride along with his little sister and help her master her driving skills. We’ve kept it in slow mode for now but once she’s more confident I will put it to the faster speed. The battery dose take awhile to charge but that’s typical for these types of battery’s. Over all a very fun toy well worth the $$ and I would buy again :)
