Perfect for two!

We love that it takes less oil, is more compact to store and has all the options of a full size fryer! It has a temperature dial for easy setting and an indicator light to show you when ready. Handles on both sides for easy movement. A fry basket with a handle for easy removal and a removable lid and basket for easy cleaning! Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little deep fryer. Its compact and perfect for small areas. It's super easy to use and set up. It has lights that let you know when its ready. The basket seems sturdy enough for heavier foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this last week with low expectations. However upon arrival this worked great easy to use and heats up fast. The 1.6 quart worked perfect for me being a single guy. Fast and easy French fries that go perfect with a meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing! The features on it is so simple. When you plug it in, it takes approximately three to five minutes for the oil to be hot. It doesn’t take long at all go fix anything in this little fryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know what your thinking deep fryer are large and bulky. Well this one actually takes up the least amount of counter space I have ever seen. It also does wonders for me when I don't want to use the stove.

Works as described but not for small household use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time I got a deep fryer. Prior to this I have been using a wok to deep fry food, and more recently an air fryer. While deep frying in wok definitely needs more oil than air frying, it used to serve my needs well.
This deep fryer is well made, and includes all the instructions to use it for first timers like me. It is not very complicated to use it, but every bit of instruction helps especially when using a new gadget. I washed the washable parts and wiped the others and was ready to launch it in 15-20 mins. My experience frying some potato cakes was very similar to how I used to fry them in a wok before. This one looked more formal and more professional though. The results were similar to my previous method.
The reasons for giving 2 stars less are:
1) It uses a lot more oil than what I used with a wok. And it's not because this is wider. It's just that a lot of oil goes below and around the element coil which heats the oil. So you end up needing lot more oil to cover the coils and then more on top. The stuff you want to fry is cooking in the "more on top" portion of the oil.
2) The basket for deep frying gets food stuck to it. While that happens when deep frying, because the basket is like a mesh, it is extremely difficult to scrape or scratch the stuck food out of it while frying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this stainless steel deep fryer. It's not huge, so doesn't take up a ton of space when I use it. It will also store away easily. The oil reached temperature and cooked the food well. It didn't taste greasy. I also like that it's a stainless steel fryer as it looks nice on the counter. If you're cooking for a crowd, you might want something larger, but this worked great for us!

Great features for something so small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Elite Gourmet 1.6 quart stainless steel deep fryer is the perfect size for one or two people and is easy to use. It comes with an instruction manual and some assembly is required but everything is simple to understand and takes very little time to have this deep fryer ready to use. There is a red power indicator light, temperature control knob, green ready indicator light, one wire basket with a convenient hook to easily drain excess oil from your fried foods. I like how simple it is to clean this deep fryer and it has a removable oil tank to make changing the oil simple and easy. There is a minimum and maximum oil level line on the inside of the oil tank so you know what the oil level should be. It has a carbon filter located in the lid and you just remove the filter cover to change them. There is even a food frying guide in the instruction manual so you know what temperature and time to cook different fried foods. This is very handy for inexperienced cooks so they have a guide to look at also there are deep fryer recipes that you can make. This is a very well made deep fryer and works like it should. I am very happy with this product and it also makes a nice gift.
