Took it out on a local lake with my inflatable boat. It tells you depth, temperature and showed fish that we were able to catch (some Burbot). Way cheaper and way more portable than any other fish finder with a screen since you are already carrying your phone for the screen. I plan to use it for ice fishing too, can't wait.
I would recommend this to a friend!
