I’ve only owned the kit for a week and boiled a little bit of water in it, but what I can say is this thing is built solid. I was expecting something slightly flimsy made of tin. Boy was I wrong. Every component from the power pack, stove, grill, kettle pot, and even the coffee press. Great attention to detail by the fine folks at Biolite.

Perfect hiking stove

Tested on many weekend camps and a month on the PCT. WORKS GREAT, highly suggest the nightlight feature while cooking. Durable main body but pack well so the bowl and lid don't crack.

Works well and it’s a great piece of technology that cuts down on the need to carry separate cooking and fuel items. Packs well into one carrying bag. Issues: the heat on the grill is not evenly distributed; the yellow plastic of the battery is already discoloring after less than 10 uses (used in sunlight).

This campstove does everything it claims! Top notch construction and even the packaging was really simple with minimal waste. I love how compact it is when everything, except the grill, fits together.

VERY NICE ! Easy to use and set up. Have only tried once at home , but will be using on hikes in fall. Haven't use the grill or coffee press, but the kettle work to heat water just as fast or faster then a kettle on a old camping stove I have. The fire charged the battery pack full. I am going to check how long it holds a charge, then how long it takes to deplete will being used with no fire.
