Easy to use especially with the pellets..Boils water quickly, charges my cell and cooks a great meal with little fuss. Not alot of bulk so it's great for moto camping.

I would suggest that a new purchase (if you haven’t owned one before) that you take some time and use it when your home . It makes it a lot more useable on the trail/camping what ever your plans are Very nice unit!

great little camp stove. there are smaller ones, but this one generates a 5v charge and burns whatever you put in it. some fuels take technique to keep fire hot enough for the grille but with a little practice its great.

After revamping our bug out/bug in and camping gear we realized that we were lacking diverse ways to maintain the ability to survive / thrive after a cataclysmic event, whether it was a natural disaster or man made disaster. The biolite camp stove 2 combo has given us an excellent way to enjoy the outdoors and survive/thrive in the outdoors. This stove is sturdy and yet very portable. I am looking forward to many years of off grid use no matter what is put in our path. The Biolite camp stove is a welcome addition to our nomadic lifestyle.

hi i waited for years to finally buy one of these kits when it arrived i was excited to use it with a little tinder preparation it was surprisingly easy to get lit i used some dryer lint fero rod and some small kindling i split with my knife all was well for the first the i wanted to cook some hamburgers got the first two done went to get two more to cook and the stove overheated what's really a pain is you can no longer cook anything till the stove basically cools all the way down before it will return to normal running instead of cooling down some then resume it's a little frustrating when you got raw food on the grill and have to let the fire practically burn out before you can restart granted it was my fault for not paying close enough attention to the burn meter while i was cooking but as intelligent as the rest of the unit is it can sense when to start and stop the fan but not sense the temp where it can resume after overheating but don't get me wrong there's still plenty i like about the kit and i had fun using it just that one thing needs addressed in my opinion.

Works awesome! Recommend using food grade hardwood pellets for longer cook times. Can get a huge bag at hardware stores. But still works great with sticks and other found wood, but there’s a small learning curve. Overall a really cool, high quality cook setup. Love it.
