Overall it has been good so far. I only wish for 2 things, the 620 to have a larger battery and sightly larger panel, and a smaller model below the 620 with 1 light.

Purchased this about a month ago for hurricane season in South Texas. Just spent one night and about 24hrs without power due to Hurricane Hanna and the solarhome did exactly what I needed it to do. Was able to light my whole thanks to the daisy chain ability of the lights, charged my phone twice and even was able to listen to some weather updates on the radio. This product turned a miserable 24hrs into something not so bad. Thank you.

Just charged the system for 1st time. Everything seems to work fine. Bought for my cabin in N Idaho and hopefully will work in the winter. Can't figure out how to change language to English on display. No support number to call. Sent company an email and hopefully they will respond. Will review again after using for a while.

Hit and Miss

It is everything it describes except my battery capacity is hit and miss at night. I use this in my shed and only using one light for now. During the day I will have a full charge. At night I will either have a full charge and it works great, or no charge and the light won't turn on. All the connections have good contact. A little disappointing since it isn't reliable.

It's incredible!!! We recently had our power go out during Hurricane Sally. BioLite made the whole experience actually easy. We had neighbors over to make coffee with their camp stove. We became the neighborhood barista! Their products are so cool and easy. We grilled everything we could from our freezer before the food would all ruin. The products all were so helpful. Which brings me to this light set. It was awesome!!! We used it inside our home at night during the time there was no power from the storm. It provides a lot of light - easy on the eyes. It was perfect. I wish I had another one - one for the back and one for the front. It lights up extremely well. Very happy with the light purchase! We placed it high up inside of the front door and it provided amazing light. No need for candles - this is sooooo much better. Much brighter than candles - way better. It worked great! Thanks so much to BioLite. Such a cool company. Highly recommend! Very strong lighting.

We purchased two SolarHome 620’s, one for our emergency use and another for our son’s emergency use as a gift. Tested both units and they work well, bright when needed and lights can be dimmed. The solar panel completes the charge in direct son as expected. We also purchased the plug in adapter chargers for each unit from BioLite as an alternate charging system. These are great to have on hand in emergencies.
