Great Product, poor spare part availability

I bought the solar home a few years ago and I am absolutely thrilled by it. Works as a charm for our rabbit barn... but:
The solar panel is broke, and I wanted to get a replacement unit. unfortunately our reseller does not have any and is not able to get another one. Do you sell the panels incl. the appropriate cable somewhere? If not, what kind of panel di I have to purchase and with what kind of wiring? Actually my solarhome is useless, since the main unit is not charging anymore. please help!

Great design. Easy set up. Fair price. Way brighter than I expected. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd do it again. However, I worry about the ability of the solar panel to gather energy in anything other than the perfect light at the perfect angle. The display is very quick to say something to the effect of "no solar power" with the slightest cloud or poor angle. The only other system I have experience with still sucks up energy in all conditions. Even if the panel is covered with snow or its very cloudy. I wish this panel was the same. That being said, I'm still very new to this biolite system. As long as it collects energy faster than I use it I'll be happy. Time will tell.

Radio works great, lights only work short time even after solar panel sits in sun all day. Expected better.

It is February and I am in Michigan. After letting the panel sit in the window a few days it is charged and I use one light every day for couple of hours, as well as the radio on occasion. It isn’t a great sounding radio, but it picks up stations and that’s good enough for me. Battery is hovering around 80% and it has been cloudy here (and the panel is still just sitting in the west facing window). The other light is in my basement stairwell, so not using it much, but this was much easier to install than a hardwired light! Haven’t tried the motion light at all yet.

I purchased two kits so far, first one over 1.5 years and the other is about a year to date. I have some land in Colorado that I use for a getaway from the city life. So, no tv-no computers and so on. I have one kit installed in my camper and this is my main lighting source and its perfect. I have never had a problem with this kit not receiving enough sun light. The other I given to my dad for his camper and he loves it as well. I will sit outside playing music with the radio feature and just soaking up all the nature that I can. This is perfect for camping, fishing or the shed at home. This is something that you can take on the go! Its worth every penny!!!

Keeping in mind that you'll need to buy an additional AC charger if you always want to have this charged and ready when the power fails, this is not a bad little system for emergency equipment. The lights are adequate, but not bright. They still beat candles and oil lanterns! The radio is not super powerful, but will do in an emergency and we like that it also comes with a light. All things considered, would buy this again or give as a gift.

I bought this through the AAFES...
thought it would be great for prepping.
It takes a LOOOONG time to charge, and the charge doesn't last long...
Okay if you live somewhere with perpetual sunshine and no clouds... otherwise, function is sketchy at best. So sorry, so disappointed.
