I put 5 star because the service or the respond was very good, but you guy must check your product before release it. Whit the second unit I found the battery pack from the first unit is OK so the Electronic circuit from the first unit its kaput. Thank you for the offer of 50% for the second unit. Now I have more light units. :-)

Was super excited about this thing, out of the box everything looked great, and I was excited about its simplicity. Its purpose was to be a light source for our root cellar, but it won't do anything. Solar panel is hooked up and in full sun but nothing turns on. A few numbers flash briefly when plugging in the panel but quickly disappear back into the darkness from which they came. I've got a request in with the support channels on their website so we will see. It's a great concept, but for now it's just holding up it's cardboard box. -_-
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re using it as a primary light source off grid 24/7 currently. So far for a month or so. It’s been great and a back up battery to charge a phone occasionally too.
