great unit. will be using in an off grid tiny cabin. firts hook up was in sun about 2 hrs lite was still on 2 am

Works well. Still need to figure out an adjustable mount for the solar panel but maybe a ram mount will work. Anyone know what size?

I installed the SolarHome 620 on our backyard porch last year. The system provides more than enough light for the porch and adjacent areas of the yard. I am thinking of installing another 620 to provide light to other areas of the yard, and to use as a source of light for camping. The 620 easily deserves a five-star rating.

I love the solor home. Works great in the camping van and at home when electricity goes out. I also keep the motion light on for when I wake in the night. Gave one to my daughter and son-in-law in NC they love it as thier electricity goes out just about anytime there's a storm. Great investment

Solar deep in the Maine Woods

We purchased the SolarHome 620 to trial at our very remote cabins in the Northern Maine Woods. We have gas lights in our cabins but wanted to try going solar. We were not disappointed. Charging and set up was fast and easy.
The lighting was more then we expected. We never used the gas the whole week. The charge even lasted through a rainy day.
Our Biolite 620 will be traveling every year now to Maine.
Thank you for such a dependable solar unit.

cabin in europe

I got SolarHome620 for my cabin in the Czech Republic. I love the system since it is simple to install or move around to the different locations.
The light is awesome at night and it feels really cool to utilize the solar energy.
Three lamps are bright enough for a all night outdoor party.
I am going to buy one more set because it is worth it.
Keep it up BiolIte!!!

my home is now solar

Perfect timing to purchase SolarHome 620. It is hurricane season in Florida (June thru December). I feel prepared incase we lose electric power this season. First, I connected the solar panel on the side of the house and placed the 3 lights on the lanai. Very easy to put up and take down and move it around. The light switches permit, low, medium and high lighting. Perfect. I realized I could take the radio with me anywhere outside the house when I was cutting the grass around the outside of my home. Perfect way to keep that solar panel in the sun/and energizing, while enjoying the radio. Very easy to use. The control box is easy to read. I am so glad to have purchased SolarHome 620. This was one of the first products I have used from BioLite. I have told all my friends to look into purchasing Biolite products. Thank you so much. Most Sincerely, Karen M.

First unit I received had a defective battery. It was promptly replaced at BioLites expense.
This is a great unit for off grid use and a lot of product for the price.
