Well Done BioLite!

I ordered this little unit based off my experience with BioLite in the past. Their products have been fantastic, so I jumped at the chance to get one b fore Christmas.
Confession: I was also wrapped up in the glow of the successful Kickstarter campaign, which they ran brilliantly, & absolutely professionally.

I’m not sure what I was expecting; big bulky lights, heavy panel.. so when it arrived, I was a bit concerned by how lightweight the package was.
I should have known; these people know what they’re doing. Period.
I use this unit camping. (Yes, even in winter here in Utah) The panel charges our phones all day as well as the control box! And that motion sensor light? It’s better than the one on our front porch at home!
Worth every penny, & clean energy to boot.
I absolutely LOVE this kit.
I will be purchasing a few more, no doubt!

Handy little setup

Haven't had the opportunity to use it the way others have. Tried it in my bedroom one night. set the solar panel on patio roof one Saturday afternoon. Sky was free of clouds. Battery reached capacity in a couple of hours (as indicated in product description). Hung the main light, from a door, over my head and read a book until I fell asleep a few hours later.
Nice to know I'll have a reliable source of lighting next time power goes out.

Looks good

I intend to use the product for lighting at my off-grid cabin in British Columbia, Canada. I can't get in to the cabin until the snows retreat in the spring. At that time I will be able to install panel and lights.
However, I unpacked and inspected the items and am very impressed by the visual quality and apparent durability. I have other BioLite products and all have performed as promised. I expect the same quality and reliability from the SolarHome 620.

Top quality

Haven’t had an opportunity to test the unit yet but,each component looks to be well made and up to the task. It will go to an out building on my property that doesn’t have electricity. Once the weather breaks I’ll set up the complete system. Great value for the money.

More than Awesome!

I will be moving to Alaska in spring 2019. I will be using this product in my off-grid yurt.
I am currently using this in my bedroom/office to test it out. Works perfectly. The sensor light is great for those times when I get up in the middle of the light. I placed it above the bathroom door so I do not have to flip a switch. The other two lights work perfect and provide great lighting. With the two lights and the unit light I find I am never lacking or wanting brighter light.
The solar charger is on my roof and works in all but the worst of weather. It has to be extremely overcast to not get a charge. Depending on how much I used the lights the night before it can take as little as 2 hours in full sun to recharge and 6-10 in lower light.
All in all a great product! I cant wait for the expansion pack that is being talked about.

Livestock Barn Lighting

Bought this to provide lights/power to a small livestock barn for our goats to kid in. Was extremely simple to install, and worked right out of the box. We will be buying another for our camper, soon. Awesome product with limitless uses.

Got this about a month ago, but only had an opportunity to unpack and give it a full day of sun today. I am happy with the results so far. This would be a great addition to my camping gear along with my other Biolite products. Keep up the great work guys, I look forward to other awesome innovations.

A real game changer.

I installed it in my off grid cabin, hardly took any time. It's made life so much easier. We can actually see to cook breakfast now! Bright lights with a fast recharge, I am very impressed. We will see how she does in the colder months.
