Good product. Had to give it 4 stars for the mounting hardware. Nails instead of screws. Small peice of wire to mount the solar panel. I understand it is probably because people living in a hut dont have a drill to use screws. But, i don't live in a hut. Other than the lack of hardware. Great product. I also like what the company believes in.

Main unit don't change.

After the guaranty finished, the main unit stop working.
Really poor quality!
I used 1 day.
I don't recommend this product!

it only worked once

I bought this product for camping and emergencies. I used it one time. The second time I used it the control housing dose not turn on, neither dose it charge. Even after biolite trouble shot it. I do not at all recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

diappointed in 2 ways

actually it is a great product, but my first disappointment came because it isn't charged at all. so that's why i cant even test the product i received. at first i have to charge the Solarhome 620. second disappointment, there is a charge inn possibly but i don't have that charger included so i have too charge the solar home 620 by the panel so that i can check if it is working.
I would kindly ask you to maybe solve 1 of this 2 issues.
my biggest problem is, that i would even buy a charger but you don't sell them either

Great units but need to maintain the battery

The charger contains a rechargeable battery that needs to be charge.maintained. Just pulling the unit out of the closet after it has sat for several years will fail to light the bulbs - the solar panel needs to have charged the enclosed battery in order for the unit to work. This aspect of these units is not made sufficiently clear and needs to be emphasized.
