I need to get another one!

I jumped at the chance to get this for my off grid cabin. When I received delivery at office, several people were curious and I advised them to check BioLite website, but they were too late for the pre-launch. I will let them know it will be available again soon. I like to read at the cabin, but it can get dark really early in the evening, and I don't like using lanterns with their fumes. I like the good old fashioned button to turn on the lights. Now I need another for a garden shed that has no power. I love all BioLite products! So creative and useful.

Not for the Cold

Was pleased with the lights until the cold weather came and now they do not work at all. Not good for a hobby maple syrup building!

Not Suitable for Cold Climates

This was a christmas gift. I installed ths system and tested it a few weeks after Christmas. The unit worked for 3 days, then the battery fully discharged without explanation. The vendor (Sport Chek) did not disclose vital information that the system is not designed for cold weather use. Our first use of the system was WITHIN the temp limits, but I had been intending on using it in winter conditions. Product support was ineffective because they only communicate by email, and the support did not address the issue regarding battery discharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Milk money scheme.You don't provide a way to charge without sun. This price point should come with wall charger. Some live in colder climates and want to precharge before outing? Lame.

Seems like a great product. Works out of box. It wasn’t fully charged, so I put it in the window and like that you can see real time charging (how much light it’s getting %)... but it’s only getting to 98% charge to begin with; i know it will deplete and not charge to full capacity over time, so this irks me a little- beginning at less than perfect.
