Short battery life

I received the headlamp as a gift for Father’s Day and disappointed to find out that the battery on a full charge is only lasting 45 minutes to an hour on the lowest setting. I also on the fire pit which is an excellent product and I’m very happy with that but the headlamp not so much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery doesn't hold charge

Bought fairly recently - I fully charge the battery and when I go to use the headlamp, one or 2 weeks later without using it in between, the battery is completey dead and I can't use the headlamp. Basically, I can't trust this headlamp to bring with me backcountryto rely on it to use it when I want to - that's pretty disappointing.
Other than that, when the headlamp actually has a charge, it works fine.

Great light for only 4 uses

I bought this headlamp in Sept of 2021. I have used it less than 10 times. The power button has stopped working, yet, the battery display button still works indicating full battery. When it works it really is nice, yet it has no longevity, nor is it reliable for anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted to love this....

I was given the headlamp as a gift by my husband and I loved how comfortable it felt to wear as well as being rechargeable and super bright. Unfortunately that's where the pros end... the on/off switch is tiny and in an awkward spot, with a hard plastic nib sticking up right by it, you have to either have nails or press your finger into it pretty hard to get it to function. Nonetheless, I liked not having to buy batteries and it worked great... until it didn't. After using it about once a week/ every other week, for 5 months it started acting crazy. The lights that indicate the charge/ charging will be all lit up as fully charged when plugged in and the lamp works WHILE it's plugged in, but as soon as it comes off the charger the indicators turn off one by one and the lamp goes dark, within 2-3 minutes, tops, sometimes instantly. When it's plugged back, it again claims to to have a full charge. Soooo, either this headlamp is confused, drunk, is having a great laugh punking me or it's a piece of crap.
Seeing I don't appear to be the only one with the same malfunctions and dragging a mile long extension cord from the back of my head is rather bothersome..I really can't recommend this light.

Fantastic headlamp

I never thought I would get so jazzed about a headlamp. This little wonder is so light, comfortable, intuitive, and long-lasting. I had another brand prior to this one, and I never thought particular features were very critical--light is just light, right? Now it doesn't seem that way. This thing fits like a glove, and practically operates by intuition. I have been so pleased with this headlamp, the best outdoor gear purchase I've made in the last couple years. The only possible drawback is that the lamp button is tiny, so with my big hands I need to use the corner of a fingernail to operate it. But its compactness is part of its special appeal, and I knew that going into it. I use my BioLite 330 not just hiking, but for evening yard work, searching in dark closets, looking for my lost pet at night, etc. Its brightness is plenty for my needs--I wouldn't want a brighter light, most of the time I dim it down from its maximum output, anyway. If I lost mine, there is no way I would replace it with a different headlamp. I'm a BioLite 330 convert.

Light but powerful

I love this headlamp!
It's very light and comfortable to wear and stays snug against my head without that too tight feeling that always gives me a headache with other headlamps. I like the low profile front--less weight in the front definitely increases the amount of time I can wear it comfortably.
I was initially worried about having something on the backside of headlamp band (because which of us has not had "that" lamp with the ginormous battery pack poking you in the back of the head before) but it's no issue. I put on the headlamp and it's so light and perfectly fitted it literally disappears-- I forget I have it on until I need it.
